Well, the blondes are assembling (strawberry in my case :D) to apply hobnobs and hot chocolate... and to commiserate on today's interview. Sorry you felt it didn't go well (it's such a horrible feeling when you freeze up), although there is still hope, and Marmite and I will keep our paws crossed. I have taken the liberty to speak for Marmite of course, as I am sure he is currently engaged in some very important catland activity such as sleeping. Plus more good luck is being sent for your next interview.

If that doesn't work, consider that you have kissed a cold and warty job frog in today's interview, and that your job prince still awaits you. Btw, I agree that your job prince should involve writing - you have a lovely style.

In terms of earning money, there is a thread on here for making £10 a day - also in Debt Free Wannabe - which will give you lots of ideas on things to do. I am signed up with a couple of the free scratchcards, and have made about £15 off each since the start of the year - not megabucks, but good treating material. Plus there are occasional one-offs; I wrote a series of reviews for Qype having found the details on the Up Your Income board, and have a £50 Virgin voucher for my troubles. So there is certainly the potential for scavaging extra cash/treats out there.;)

    Save me some Quavers?
  • Evening all my lovelies! (aka crazy-cat-club / blonde-appreciation-society / sexy-minx-rosered-wannabes)

Welcome to the thread ragstoricheswannabe! Lets hope they can see my potential eh? Either that or they might feel pity on me and think 'we have a special needs policy here, she will fill our quota'.

Hollyberry - Marmite better be keeping his paws crossed because if i dont get a job soon he will be out on his furry ears selling katnip on the streets!:D

wheredoesitallgo - I am gonna to have a look at the thread, seems really good! I dont mind the £10 deposit, its when they ask for loads that it worries me!

Palema - thanks for keeping your fingers crossed for me! I need it. xx good luck for when you do go for the other job, let us know!!

Right ive totally gone against my whole -lets get healthy in 2009 regime, it lasted, oh, about 8 hours. Ive eaten, 2 packets of quavers, a bowl of bran flakes and 6 (yes SIX) hobnobs. Now i feel very sleepy and stodgy...

Just had a row with Sparky on the phone (Orange still havent connected me:mad: ) he hasnt called me all day and leaves it till now to say he will be home LATE. WELL GUESS WHAT DUMB-!!! I GATHER THAT AS ITS 9.30PM ALREADY!!!! Men. Cant live with em, cant kill em.

Thanks for saying nice things about my writing. *very chuffed, puffs out chest with pride*

I am a marketing person and do copywriting which i enjoy as its part of my job (although after todays poor attempt i might give it up as a bad job!). I once started to write a book about the perils of trying to lose weight, but i only wrote a few chapters and gave up! As you can tell im doing SO well at losing it right now!:rotfl:

I hope your all having a nice night. Ive been reading Peter Kay's book, so funny. Im in my jogging bottoms and jumper in bed. Nice and relaxing...:j :j

I've not got many plans for tomorrow, depends on if me and HIM are arguing. lol. I really would like to go to the cinema but its so expensive to go on any day except on the Orange wednesdays. I think its £7.60 each at our local one! Maybe might compromise and try to rent a good DVD...

    HI Blondie!

At least Sparky rang you! Its when they don't even bother to ring, come in at 2am and have a wee in the wardrobe that you should be worried :) Hope you have a good night. WHy don't you start a blog. A lot of people started there who now have books out and columns. How do I know, I here you say? My line of work is as a Press Officer. :)
  • Ooooooooooo *looks up and stares glassy eyed at rosered* your one of those snazzy suit wearing PR types...

Very true about the clothes, ive been very clever about his washing. When we first started dating i accidently tumble dried his footie shirt and all the badges stuck together in a big ball (there were tears at dawn i can tell you!)..so now he wont let me do his washing..im not 'domesticated enough' apparently! Thank god for that!

Hi Blondie. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I do all the washing. The words "rod" and "own back" come to mind! Last time younghusband did it, my bras came out dark grey. Regarding being a press officer - simiilar to what you do, except dealing with the media, mainly national papers. Anyway, a blog is your way forward, and you will have loads of subcribers! Martin would be pleased, I'm sure. He is attractive - I love his no nonsense style on Radio four while the other panellists are humming and saying errr - he just ploughs right in. Wellard. :)

And again :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Why don't you apply for FREE tickets for the next series of It Pays to Watch - and you CAN meet Martin - in fact, you can wrestle yourself to the front of the audience and then launch yourself at him during a break. Maybe we could all come too and hold everyone else back;)

BTW - sorry ladies, I'm not blonde - is this a problem? I'm a red-head (although as my old Computer Studies teacher used to say ... we call it titian!). When the white hairs which are scarily beginning to come through reach a critical mass then my hair will look more strawberry blonde than red - but if the other members of my family are anything to go by, this could take decades.

Blondie - wait on see with this interview. My interview for the job I have now was SO AWFUL that I came out and cried - yet they thought I was 'completely natural' :rotfl:

And I think 6 hobnobs was v restrained of you! x

  • Morning!!

Rupe - redheads are more than welcome!!! I am 100% gonna try to get tickets, could you imagine! I could fake a debt induced faint and therefore he would have to run into the audience and rescue me!! :j

Ive had a bad morning already and its only 9am. Sparky came in at 2am, didnt talk to me, then said 'give me a cuddle', to which i said 'no'. He then gets up at 7am and tell me hes going to watch chelsea play with his dad (an early birthday present).!!!!!! WHY DIDNT HE BOTHER TO TELL ME??!!
His answer - COZ I DIDNT.

Sorry while i try to calm my anger *breathes in - breathes out - nice and slow*

I am beginning to give up, seriously. We broke up last year in Sept, he walked out, then w decided to give it another try and right now i cannot be bothered to try anymore.

Im upset, angry and i feel trapped.

We are stuck in this flat as in negative equity, i have nowhere at all i could go (nowhere). Im stuck with him. He wouldnt move out as hes an pain in the a@se.

Im actually crying right now. Im so sorry for ranting and moaning like this but everything just seems pants right now. No job, a man who hates me, no money.

at least i have the cat xxx Maybe i can dress him up and take him cinema x
