November GC £255/£3000 -
Firstly - welcome Kirstie!
Thank you Rupe / Tilly / Mummum2 / Rosered for your wishes...
BUT....
I SUCKED SO BAD!!!!
I have never been rubbish at interviews before but for some reason i have no idea what to say??!!! It was like someone had replaced my brain with custard!!!
At the end of a horribly slow 40 mins interview i had to do a test and write copy for a flyer (VERY SIMPLE should really be able to do it in my sleep) and i stalled. I was miss-typing, my fingers were gooey and wouldnt work!!!
OMG I AM ACTUALLY EMBARRASSED!!!
The lady said they would decide today and me thinks i will be getting a letter saying 'thanks, but no thanks, your a pr@t'.
Oh well! At least they paid for my train ticket (£7.20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
I feel all annoyed at myself, not upset just annoyed. Also angry as Orange cut my phone off and i paid the bill last night and they still havent put me back on. ARHH so i cant even call my sister and mum to tell them how much i sucked!
Im all hot and sticky from the train too..grim.
Oh dear...please may i have your permission to have 2 naughty hobnobs with my Skinny Cow hot chocolate???
On a good note as i got the train ticket money back ive had a NSD! so yippee for that!
Oh well, need to cheer myself up! Whats on TV tonite?????CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j
CC2 - £2400
CC3 - £3200

Remember Blondie - a rolling stone gathers no moss - after a job interview, you've done your best - NEXT! Its like when you're wading through a load of frogs to find your prince - you just keep moving on. RR X0 -

I think you should write magazine and newspaper columns. I don't know what your line of work is, but your journalistic skills are clearly there - look at all the people here now into your dairy!0

I agree with rosered! xBe your own superhero :j0

Hey Blondie,
Sorry to hear you think your interview didnt go so well I'm sure you will have done better than you think!!
If its any consolation (sp?) I went for a promotion at work recently (only for stand in for a couple of weeks) and I was asked what qualities I would bring to the role - like you I froze and my brain totally shut down and eventually after some prompting I answered but I totally mess up and didn't get the position. However you learn from your mistakes and I know that the full time position is coming up soon and I'm going for it again as I know I can do the job.
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you

*Slowly peeps round the door*
Helllooooo!!!! I have homemade chocolate chip cookies still warm from the oven, am i allowed to join the club??!!!! (oh and im blonde too)
Have just read all your diary and have not stopped smiling, you should def think about going into writing!!!
Dont worry too much bout todays interview, it has been known to be totally useless and still get the job.......................... i totally sucked on my interview as my previous job had knocked all the confidence out of me, i dont think i got a question right but they still offered me the job as they said they saw my potential.

Hiya!
Can't post the link to the website here (something techie about if they trace it they'll realise that we're all in it for the free scratchcards and not to get hooked on bingo!!) but there's a whole MSE thread dedicated to it ...Free Bingo & Scratchcard Chat Only Thread (no Links Please) ... hope that works as a link to the thread- I'm the least technical person around!
You don't have to pay as such to join the site... but you do have to deposit a tenner on your card as you need a balance to do the scratchcards (£10 min deposit!)... but once you've done your 1st scratchie you can take the tenner back out because the money you made is then your positive balance!
Thats completely poo about the inteview today.... BOOOOOO  :grouphug: (that's group hug... not threesome like it says when you hover over it!! YIKES!! pmsl) .... but at least you've got the others lined up too and didnt have all your eggs in 1 basket... xx
Hope Sparky got over the microwave and bills quickly!
Completely agree with the others, this thread is sooooo funny, why don't you try something journalism related - it could be fate!
Hollyberry - Love the OH / Labrador comparison!! :rotfl:
See you soon
