Have you not got like a wire clothes rack to put wet things on? Near a radiator or a fire? That's what I do. Rotate the clothes on it and they dry in a day or so. Saves the horses having to avert their eyes anyway :rotfl:
Hi Ebonylight - good tip about the clothes - I will wait till I have the heating on! I do make pies and stuff since my work contract finished in Jan. Never had time to when I was working as I worked all hours under the sun. It keeps my oout of trouble!End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt

Hello there! well ive just spent the last hour or so reading through this diary .. and i am at work, i may be joining you in the no job stakes so i really shouldnt but its compelling reading!! I feel mean for laughing when your obviously going through such a tough time but your writing is brilliant. You write in a style similar to Sophie Kinsella. Have you ever thought about becoming a writer? It could be a hobby, try taking extracts out of this and see where it goes, you never know it could be published and if not its something to do?
anyway ill keep on reading at work coz i had to cancel my net at home cant afford it( what great times we live in still mine is all my fault that film confessions of a shopoholic was written about me minus the hot guy she bags!!
p.s. ML is hhhoooottt i so agree!!
Keep smiling hun, it could be worse (not great advice but true) xxxxxMoney Wasting Expert

[Rubyslipper: Rosered can I please come and live with you? If you make your own pies (my favourite thing ever even more so than cakes) and get free tractor rides then I want in. London is dingy and crowded and has no tractors.
All this talk of pies and cakes is killing me (Tasha your mum's cake sounds incredible!!). At this rate I might have to dash next door to Barstucks for overpriced carrot cake...

Hi Rubyslipper. :rotfl: You are welcome to come and live here - we have five spare bedrooms that are all furnished, but we don't use. I also make cakes. We have a coal fire and there are owls nesting in the roof, if you can handle that! I used to love working in London years ago and I went a lot with my last job but never had a chance to look around - it was just train to conference or event, then back again. last time I did go to regents park and that area, and was knocked out by it X0 -
im hoping i can become one of your "gals" although i dont have an OH, im not blonde (brunette) and i still live at home and have no assetts apart from a load of stupid shoes and no where to wear them :O( i dream of living in london having my own place and a car and being debt free, but dreams dont come true do they

Second - the shoes are a necessity in life (so long as you can afford them) and don't worry about having places to wear them, wear them to the shops! Make you feel more glamorous!
Thirdly - You can do whatever you want to if you put your mind to it. I moved to london six months ago and love every minute of it, never look backI would say look into moving in with housemates or in a flatshare to start with and definatley make sure you get a job lined up first - the three months I was out of work weren't much fun - but then ENJOY! Any further wisdom I can off load just ask
