I shipped my first few things from ebay sales yesterday but I have to say I'm a tad disollutioned with the whole experience! I listed 5 things initially, sold 3 of them so that's fine but they all went of less than £4 (one for 99p) and with the listing maintenance/shipping hassle I'm not sure it's worth it really!
Having said that- I've made about 200 quid selling stuff on Ebay. My best sell was a set of three book i bought on Amazon which I thought were in the fantasy genre (magic/elves/wizards that kind of fantasy) but actually it was the other kind....:o Y'know fantasy with naked people :rotfl:
Anyways, sold them on Ebay for more than I bought them for!0 -
Good luck with the cake making!

Hi all,
I have made some decent money on eBay this year. I have sold a lot of things for 99p, it does add up though; I love it when I reach £45 and i can withdraw the money free from PayPal and pay more of my CC. Also make sure that your PP is costed for postage charge, jiffy bag and if you need to drive to post office, 40p per mile. That way you don't lose money.
Apprentice was ace last night; the contestants are a bunch of idiots so this should be a great series.
I have a new crush to add to the list, Patrick Dempsey from Grays Anatomy is smoking hot.
Blondie - I like smarties to cakes, you end up with a poke-a-dot effect. Looks great for birthday cakes (tastes lush to)

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!0 -

So you were expecting Terry Pratchett and wound up with a bit of blue!! :rotfl:
I think you're right though - if it was a valuable item then it's worth it but I'm just listing clothes/shoes. I'll complete the few bits I've got left on there and see how I feel. I definitely need a clear out though - my rented room only has a little wardrobe and it's bursting with stuff I'm not going to wear (one of the main reasons for the content of my signature...)

Got to admit i am partial to some girlie naughty books! :rotfl:
Ebay is good, its paypal that annoys me, they make everything so difficult, the whole verification process was annoying. GRRR
I forgot to tell you, i was trying to refrain from job hunting this week, but ive got offered an interview tomorrow in london bridge. I dont feel 100% but i am going to try to give it my best shot anyway.
Has anyone got any plans for the weekend? My sister is forcing me to go to an engagement party (if that isnt enough to tip me over the edge dont know what is!). So i need to hunt in my wardrobe for something to wear. Anyone got a spare black sack i could borrow???
Tasha - smarties is a FAB idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
retrocircles - i cannot make a sandwich usually...but i have seen these packet mix things in asda so surely i cannot go wrong adding an egg and butter???? (if all else fails in back to asda to buy a cake and cover it like lat time!)CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j
CC2 - £2400
CC3 - £3200
I hate redundancy..it sucks.

Only smarties have the answer...:rolleyes:0 -

Well it's great news that you've been offered an interview but it's even better news that you're feeling strong enough to give it a shot. The Blondie of two days ago definitely wouldn't have so I'm beyond thrilled to hear the positivity creeping back in little by little. Best of luck with it and obviously let us know how you get on!
I am now officially craving cake like never before. I've only been on this diet for 4 days! Boo to no willpower! Boo to it!

Exactly the same. I'm a bit of a whim purchaser. If I see some shoes, I buy them. I've done this twice before, gone home and found that I have a pair ALMOST IDENTICAL which is always irritating
My new room has two wardrobes though, hurrah!!End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt
Today's total: £7,297.06

I know - what's it all about, getting 7p in my bank then giving it back??
London bridge is near where I work it's in the City but I like it! (I was going to say they've just opened a new look here but hmmmmmm maybe not) What time's your interview? Good luck :jEnd of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt
