How old are you? Most people stay at home well into their twenties, if you've got it okay then that's fine. Personally I moved out when I was 17 but then I'm a bit of an odd ball :rotfl:
Being single isn't all bad either - get out and play the field! plenty of time to settle down. I think I might wait for a toyboy like Rosered!
Well Ebbs (do you mind if i call you ebbs, i feel we have reached a place in our friendship where we can shorten our names...!) im only 24 which i guess seeing it in black and white doesnt seem that bad but i guess its coz im the last out of all my friends, they are all home owners, car owners and husband owners and al i am is a shoe, bag and take that ticket owner. I have nothing to show for myself and its a little depressing but im determined to sort myself out...somehow and coming on here seems a good way to do it, join the sistahood and do it together!!!
and im ok with being single i like it, well i prefer it im too high maintenance and fussy for a fella anyway, unless zac efron comes a knockin...xxxx

What can I call you?
Ok so you're a year older than me! Fair enough - but then owning a house and car and being married is not what it's all about hun - maybe in ten years time but right now I don't put those things down as priorities... I would much rather go to a Take That concert
Although I do miss my car. Even in London I feel like I need it sometimes.
Zac Efron? Really? No offense but he's a bit young...mind you I bet he'd be a wicked toy boyMe, I'm all for Daniel Craig. Bit cliche but there you go!

Hey Princess,
im 24, have lived away from home since I was 18 in a big city, and have always had a boyfriend. As of last week I am single, living with parents in a small town and the poorest I have ever been, but you know what its great, my mum feeds me on a regular basis, the heating is awlays on and any spare money and any spare money I get can be spent on concerts and shoes etc without worrying about the gas bill.

Hey! wel you could be right, im in two minds really, i dont really have money spare so i rack up more debts instead of paying them off but thats largeley due to spending more than i earn.
My mum is worse off than me tho she earns half what i earn (and i aint on the big bucks) and she owes hundreds of thousands coz her business went up the k hole. without my rent and stuff (i pay more than my fair share, inlcuding, all the food, all the house stuff, her car insurance, the tv lincense and bill, telephone bill and the electric bill.) without me i dont think she could cope which makes me think I can never leave, i like helping her out coz she needs me but it would be nice if i was spending all this on my own place rather than at home with people constantly telling me i have it easy when i so dont!!
Anyway rant over i know I have it easier than a lot of people and for that im grateful, plus i went to indonesia a couple of years ago and seeing how tough it is out there for people brings it into perspective its just easy to forget sometimes. xxxxxMoney Wasting Expert

Ello all!!!!
Just catching up on posts! I have made the cake..it looks like a pile of cat poop with smarties all over it.mum better eat every single crumb of it...
Living in London is cool. I like the fact the shops open at weird hours and there is always something to do. Downside is that lattes cost as much a new pair of shoes and you have to sit next to weirdos on the train. Apart from that we are all lovely!
Rosered - you will one day wake up and i shall be sitting in one of your spare rooms! I shall bring a cat poop cake as a gift for your hospitality to let me stay!
Talking of shoes, me and my sister were talking about our impending holiday to Clacton (oh god) and i said i was scared that we would get attacked by chavs and that we must wear chav clothes to blend in as to not get mugged. She replied 'you can't ever be a chav, you own a real, actual pair of jimmy choos. You can never be a chav!'.
As you can see, BEFORE i was poor and when i lived at home (and paid no rent - Thanks Mum!) I too had a bad addiction to shoes. Now i feel like a right plonker wearing a £400 pair of shoes with everything else from Primark!
A few weeks ago i was even going to ebay them, but i cant. I will therefore be the only homeless person in london with Choos on. Look out for me. I will be the blonde girl with a cat on a string pushing a pram of primark clothes along, begging for money for lattes and hobnobs.CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j
