  • thanks goochie. I shall bring out the redundancy wine. xxx (are you ok?)

I'm doing OK thanks, very worried as it is awful out there at the moment and I am the main breadwinner, but - onwards and upwards - at least they have agreed that I won't have to work all of my notice and I will still get paid, so will get a few weeks at home (probably a lot longer) - "every cloud has a silver lining" and all that!

    Hi Blondie,

Sorry to hear you've not been too good, didn't see anything in this thread, do you have another one? I'm not too good at forums, keep getting lost. Anyway on the depression thing, have been there and it will pass with loads of support - Sparky has obviously never been in the situation so should not class anyone as weak - there is only so much human beings can cope with!

Did I hear you say wine.....

Hi Blondie, I posted yesterday because I was worried about you but I want to properly say hello!

I don't have a cat, nor am I blonde but I've been enjoying your diary and have been pestering my OH for a kitten but he says he doesn't like them so it may take a little more work!

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better today, if yesterday was rock bottom then you've just got to go up from there! I can't believe that Sparky was so insensitive about your depression; when you've been through as much as you have in such a short period of time, lacking the support that you need, there is no 'weakness' about it. It has taken a lot of strength to admit that you need help and I hope that you start to feel better very soon!

Look after yourself for the moment and worry about everything else once you've cleared your head a little more. It may be difficult but maybe going bankrupt is a good option since you're in negative equity. It will free you of Sparky for good and give you a new start.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Hi Rupe,

How do you get onto the main site, seen a post about Blondie being on it, but couldn't find it! Feel bad about missing supporting her yesterday!

Hey Swinstie - I wish I could put the link here - but I am SO not technical. The other thread that blondie started yesterday is in the main debtfreewannabe forum - its pretty near the top as its a thread that people have replied to recently.

    Somebody technical....help?!:o

Once i came back from the doctors Sparky came home and he just said 'only weak people get depression'. I then walked out.

I am speechless. Oh love this just sums him and his attitude up doesn't it? It doesn't really need saying but I will anyway - that statement of his is total and utter NONSENSE.

Well as the others rightly say, forget about it all - today is about you and what YOU need. Fresh air, a go on the swings and head-space sound like the best things.

    Hi Blondie,

Like Birdie I am usually just a lurker, but after we were all 'outed' yesterday, I thought I'd better say hello properly!

I don't have a cat, nor am I blonde, but I really enjoy your thread (except when you're feeling like this, obviously). I particularly like the cat names discussion - foodstuffs being an excellent choice, along with the ridiculous (but not) names like Mike.

I'm thinking of getting a hamster just so I can call it Margaret. Oh hang on, a hamster's for life and all that.

Anyway, I'm really glad you're feeling a bit better, enjoy your day with your sister.
