I wouldn't have taken any because I didn't want one. One's OK if you do, two just makes you look like you're R+R hunting and makes it harder for the rest of us.
Noticed all the SELs for Nanny McPhee had been removed today. It scanned at £11.97 though (I was buying it anyway). Did I miss out on one here? Can I help?0 -
I went to my local Tesco store and noticed that the yellow shelf label for the Motorola V220 was still up priced at 49.97 although on the sticker it does say underneath promotion end 19/2/06. I took the box next to the phone which scanned at 59.97 and would be the price charged. Would i get an R&R on this if i showed customer services the price on the shelf of 49.97 or would they point out that it also states promotion end 19/2/06.0

You would be entitled to R&R.0

Sheffield Abbeydale has had them all removed, Doncaster Plantation Extra is completely dead and Chesterfield just says 'ask a member of staff' no matter what or how many times you scan an item!
I've mentioned it at Doncaster, but they CS didn't seem interested.0 -

I bet she was an R&R'er who'd been banned previously and was trying to sneak back in wearing a disguise0 -

They might just turn a blind eye to it today due to the "feelgood factor". :j :j ........http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30400-13509445,00.html

Well ive just returned from Tesco's and after arguing for 15 minutes i was refused an R&R. After i pointed to the yellow label price the manager pointed out to me that the label also states that the promotion ends on 19/2/06. I would like to go back tomorrow and argue but i dont know what else to say. Has anybody got any ideas.0 -

The incompetance of some is astounding.
The fact of the matter is that the store is advertising the price at £49.97. You were charged £59.97. Was there anything on the shelf to indicate you would be charged £59.97? No. Regardless of the promotion end date on the label, Tesco are not showing a valid price on this product and therefore you should be charged the advertised one.
You have been overcharged, R&R applies.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.
