Sorry Pete, in retrospect I missed the derogatory comment made against all of MSE. Not everybody on here is like it, but the amount of people on here who threaten legal action at every missed freebie or misprice are starting to get on my nerves.
This place has turned into a monster unintentionally :(

Maybe it's about time for a moderator to close this thread as we seem to be going round in circles now. Also CDWow appear to be dealing with the issue satisfactorily.

One thing I would say is that there are cheaper suppliers than CDWow! if you look for them. The next time you want to buy a DVD put the title into the following site and see what price you get:

    www.find-dvd.co.uk

Also if you want CDs, DVDs or games have a look at:

    www.PaidPeanuts.co.uk

    Great prices on both sites.

    Regards,
    Art.

I did not get the £8.75 voucher, but instead I got the following

    "Hello

Unfortunately you do not qualify for the Time Out Reader's Voucher Offer.

    Please see qualifying points below.

We would like to thank you for your interest in CD WOW!

As a goodwill gesture please enjoy spending 3 x £3.00 vouchers at https://www.cd-wow.com:...........

    ......"

Result in my eyes. Got more than £8.75.....£9.00!!!lol

Just wonder if I have to use them separately.

so the conclusion i have come to, is, CD wow aren't issuing the full vouchers because too many people took advantage of the offer. This means that instead of the free CD i was going to get, as a genuine reader of timeout, i am not entitled to a free CD at all because of the cheap skatees and chavs on this site.

Well done MSE you are all a bunch of greedy morons.

I must admit that if you are a genuine "Timeout" purchaser I fully agree with your comment apart from the last sentence, which was unecessary. Not everyone on MSE is as you describe - unfortunately it is a small minority who spoil it for the majority. There are many genuine people on this site who post their finds for others - then there are some people who take advantage of this information and buy shedloads of stuff to resell at a profit - spoiling it for everyone else.

Did you choose your mse user name because it suits your personality as a blagger, ie. you are warning others you are a blagger so people should beware of you cause you may try and pull a fast one, or is that you are pointing out that blaggers should beware because you are gonna put everyone who uses this board straight on a few things

What I don't understand is that they apparently have had 85 000 requests for the voucher yet TimeOut sell on average 89 000 copies of each issue. So they haven't even met their quota for all their readers. I've got that info from this thread btw so don't know how accurate it is. Find the whole thing rather farcical myself and stunned that people actually get worked up over things like this.
