Here's what I got back today...

    Hi

    Thank you for contacting.

Sorry for the delay in responding – we have been inundated with applications which do not meet the stipulated criteria and so we have had to sort through them manually.

    Thank you for your patience.

We will be sending the vouchers to “qualifying” entries shortly.

    Kind Regards
    Joshua

    Art,

What exactly is an attack on all fronts? This isn't war, yet again i would state that IT IS A VOUCHER!!!!!!!! One that most aren't even entitled to let alone cry about not getting.

Its getting a little old now folks don't you think?

    "Attack on all fronts"......honestly.....

You are so wrong! Its time we enlisted the help of the armed forces to deal with this. We need a regime change at CDWOW, get rid of the evil dictators who refuse to freely empty their pockets into ours.... :rotfl:

Looks like CDWow! are dealing with this problem.

I have just had an email from them. It tells me that I don't qualify for the offer but then they enclose 3x £3 vouchers for me to use on buying CDs from them. So they have sent me £9 worth of vouchers although I can only use one per purchase. A good result I think.

    Regards,
    Art.

Same here Art, got 25p more than expected. Great stuff :)
  • so the conclusion i have come to, is, CD wow aren't issuing the full vouchers because too many people took advantage of the offer. This means that instead of the free CD i was going to get, as a genuine reader of timeout, i am not entitled to a free CD at all because of the cheap skatees and chavs on this site.

Well done MSE you are all a bunch of greedy morons.

    Pete2001 and Ems!...

See my signature... you both qualify unfortunately :(

There are genuine people who missed out because of MSE.
Fair enough, everybody who went in for this is to blame, but if you had legitimately bought the mag, and missed out, you would be upset too.

An apology or at least some genuine sympathy would be the mature response you should have gone for :(
    Be nice

I only apologise when I have done something wrong thanks smashed . Where have I stated that I haven't bought the mag? When a website is as popular as MSE, things like this will happen, deal with it.
This thread has turned into nasty slanging match and I thanked Pete for his lighthearted attitude towards a nasty, abusive post. I do not wish to be drawn into a row with people like that, so I'll say no more on the matter.

I will apologise for the post. It was meant to be light-hearted, if it didn't come across that way then sorry. Having said that previous posts calling MSE users "chavs and scum" were, in my opinion, far worse. I did buy the mag and luckily did get a voucher. Unlucky to those who didn't.
