Free CD-Wow £8.75 voucher loophole

We'll agree to differ art - personally I've always found that giving a CEO a good personal b***ocking works a treat. So does inundating TS with mail instead - especially if they think they could get some good PR from it.
No harm in sending emails to CD Wow if you want - but they'll be arriving in a different box from the actual orders. If you check back on this thread you'll see that people are getting "deleted without reading" messages back, so i suspect they are already not bothering to check!0 -
I missed this offer for various reasons but I hope CDWow dont go bust because of it. I'd rather them be here longterm than gain a £8.75 voucher and they go bump sending out 100,000 vouchers as they offer great prices compared to the High St and some websites rip-offs we have in this country. Having said that the Timeout circulation is 86000 so they should in theory send out the 85000 vouchers. Good luck though.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Has anybody contacted Watchdog about this? Perhaps they would be able to help get the vouchers for legitimate readers of Time Out.

Do you even watch Watchdog?
Do you really think they would do anything about something so petty as a free voucher? They help people with issues that have damaged and offended people, whether that be financially or even emotionally and physically.
Come one, its a voucher....... Watchdog........Jaesus0 -
It's a shame.
I applied for the vouncher, and like most haven't received it.
They have some good offers, and I was tempted to get the vertigo dvd on special, but then i feel i've been duped into signing up for something with a promise that's not been honoured, and why should they have my custom on a hollow promise?
I signed up once, for myself. Hardly mass conning.:rudolf:0 -
amen to that. Let watchdog deal with the pensioners who've lost their savings to a dodgy sales rep, or that gig tickets site who were charging over the odds with no good reason. genuine rip offs and bigger issues
I think maybe martin should consider whether or not this offer is worth all the hassle and actually qualifies as money savings rather than blatant blagging. how can he possibly argue the case for mse users when he is the one responsible for creating the suspicion by cd wow in the first place.
And finally FAO people complaining about spam. Spam is UNSOLICITED. Check the meaning of the word then go back over the information you supplied to CD Wow in the first place. I managed to tick a box asking for no e-mails. That way i don't receive any e-mails. Gosh I must be a genius :-)0 -
