Ta YM - how's it going your end? I thought about you as soon as we heard about hubby's ED.

    Hope stuff's ok

Am doing OK thanks. Had a payrise so had to fill in IPOQ so waiting to hear if I get IPA. My figures make it that I will not but who knows. They did query my medical figures only but that was nearly 3 months ago and I have heard nothing.

Hope you have a nice weekend

@rrjw. i am waiting to see cab again, if all paper work ok then, they will ring court for a date and bobs your uncle as they say. as others have said when you read others storys then sometimes life is not as bad as it seems. the only thing i am bothered about apart from my soa which i will do online hear for others to see, car is 2000 owed on hp, i got it with my mobility moneys and it is worth i think around 2500 or so, i just hope they dont take it as i need it for my mobility, still i can always get a pogo stick. :rotfl:, i will cross that bridge when i come to it, unless i fall in water, hehe dam pogo stick. i live alone and my problems started when my lad was liveing with me from the age of 11, he has had and still has anger problems and he smashed a car up of mine and kicked holes in walls etc, not nice but i have worked things out with him and now hes not as bad, but it has and will cost me dear. as it has done with my health. i just whant to start again like yourselfs find a good woman, and live the rest of life in peace. anyway all best sorry for rambling on.;)

Thanks for posting this RRWJ, My OH has just gone BR and the impact it has had on me and our relationship is horrendous. I have tried to be there for him throughout but he has pushed me away telling me he needs to do this on his own. Like you, it is the start of him dealing with issues from his previous relationship. I can't sleep, can't eat, am now having panic attacks and have nobody to talk to as he doesn't want anybody to know. I also can't talk to him as he feels I am overreacting and doesn't understand the impact it has had on me. It's good to know that I am not the only one to feel this way

    Sportie,

I've learnt that there's nothing quite like financial issues to bring about trouble in a relationship. Thankfully, my hubby didn't push me away, and saw it as a "together thing" so we could lay to bed his past and make a clear path to building a strong future together. I was there for him, like he was there for me when I panicked.

If you truly have no-one to talk to, call the samaritans. They're there to listen when you have no-one to turn to, and they won't judge.

I'm sorry your OH's BR has pushed such a wedge in between you - if you need to sound off, give me a shout.

    Hugs

    R

We kindof don't know what happens next now. What are the obligations he has towards the OR? What do we need to do now?

    I still can't quite believe it's over....

    Hope you're both ok

I hope you get your date soon snoopy! From seeing my hubby through it, it really isn't that much of a big deal once you've had the OR interview. The actual day is quite nerve-wracking, as is the OR interview day, but after that if everything is plain sailing, it's just a case of waiting for the discharge.

    Fingers crossed for you

    xx

Fantastic news about the new addition - all the best for that!

I guess I should read back on this and see the change myself. I do know though that if it wasn't for people like you on here, the whole BR thing would have been much bigger and scarier than it actually was. You guys have kept me focussed when nothing else did, and you've reassured me and listened to me whingeing on and on. So thankyou so much, from both of us.
