Nice to hear how it's going RW. Glad you are doing ok. Whats happened about you reluctant member;)?. Gosh you do need to knuckle down, so it is understandable that you have not had much time to come here.

We ain't going anywhere so please let us know how the OH gets on next wk.Dx

Hubby just got off the phone with the OR.

He's overwhelmed at how lovely she was. She did ask loads of probing questions, but he was expecting those and answered them as openly and honestly as poss. She wants some additional documentation from him ASAP, and managed to get it so he won't be making any repayments (fingers crossed). She also mentioned there's a possibility of early discharge if her investigation goes smoothly.

Thankyou again for everyone rooting for him/us. Sorry I'm not around much at the mo. Good news is that my dissertation went in last fri, and I only have 3 more pieces of work to hand in now, one of which is a presentation tomorrow. So there is light at the end of the tunnel now.

*hugs* to those being fab to me on here, and also best wishes to anyone else going br reading this at the mo, or facing the OR shortly.

    Catch up post...

It's now nearly 4 months since the OH went BR. Letters and phonecalls have stopped, and the LL didn't respond to the letter we sent informing them he went BR. I've now finished my degree and am looking for work, and we're also looking to move house in the next month to month and a half. We've got til the first week in september to move.

Day-to-day it doesn't affect us him being BR. My only worry is if I can't find work and we don't find somewhere to live.

    However....

he got a letter from the OR yesterday saying if he fills it in and sends it back PDQ, then they'll consider him for early discharge!!!! :T That would be a stroke of luck.....

Hope everyone reading this is ok - sorry I've not been around much recently.

Dalip - I get my results next Friday - eeeek!!!! Not looking forward to it at all!

I'm keeping absolutely everything crossed that he gets ED - we have a friend who has a friend working in insolvency, and he told her that they're discharging people as soon as they can to get them off the books because there's such a backlog. So fingers crossed!! I'll be posting OH's statement of affairs up here later to get people to check through and see if it's all ok.

Hope everything is well with you xxx

    Hi

Nice to hear from you and glad to hear about the possible ED. Fingers crossed for you both.

I thought I was going OK but sods law I have got a pay rise at work which equates to £1600 per annum.

Nice though it is I have let the OR know and have to fill out IPOQ and send it in and see if I get an IPA.

    Looking touch and go ATM.

@ yellowmonkey - how spooky! I was thinking about you earlier, wondering how you were doing.

Gutted to hear about the payrise - what a kicker! Thankfully the pay at OH's work has been frozen at the moment until the economy picks up, and with me unable to find a full-time job and having to sign up to temping to fund my MSc, we're still only living on his wages, so that's swinging in our favour.

Hope you get through yours soon - I'm wondering how long it'll take them to discharge OH once he's sent the paperwork off.

    *hugs*
