  • boddy its a good thing you checked - thats not good - very naughty of her!
G&B I am going to join you for Lent and give up chocolate and sweets - I havent been able to get past about 14 days so I am determined to do this - it will also be good for me and my diabetes too. I was also reading a report/Lent suggestion that another church is doing and I am going to do alongside - give 1 thing away everyday for the 40 days - donating it to a good cause - so thats 40 in 40 days -I should manage to do that too. I will probably do the actual donating in a weekly batch but I am going to put something aside everyday.

ok back to the LR - its putting the little bits back that takes the time for me!
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Hello vivw nice to see you posting but I am sorry to hear you are feeling overwhelmed and that things are not going too well for you just now. Dont go overdoing it - a worn out vivw wont be any good either!

Thanks for the welcome back. Felt I needed to be amongst friends after the awful day I've had .

toots, that's a great idea! My church is asking us to think about starting something rather than just giving up something, so I'll join you on this. And, after a chat with the 'next door' teacher at work today, we are both giving up choccie bars and crisps with the added aim of losing a stone by Easter!!

Laminator just about warmed up now ............

Froddy - Ashia is fine she lurks a bit at the monent as she is working lots, finishes a 13 day stretch tomorrow then it is her birthday on Wednesday.
She's much better at flying than me though - but then she only has nice little flat, without a dog!!!!

Just a quick in and out (oooerrr Matron fnah fnah).

Toots - can I have a Monday star please? :D

And DS shocked me even more. He did actually run the Dyson over the living room carpet before putting it away.

G&B thank you for the idea of suggesting it to him!

Mind you, he's talking about the fact that next month can be rent free because he's done the Dysoning.

He has another think coming very soon! ;)
