    November NSD's - 7
  • Have done enough studying for tonight - will go down and see if hubby has fallen asleep or not - he's been working on the loft hatch since he came home and it will be finished and a loft ladder installed before the weekend is over - see I knew simple threats would work :D - he's doing a grand job and is even insulating the hatch - he is a good gibbon really :D

...and for those of you teaching types who like a laugh, I was sent this by a friend

A professor at the University of Sydney was giving a lecture on
'Involuntary Muscular Contractions' to his first year medical students.
Realizing this was not the most riveting subject, the professor decided to
    lighten the mood slightly.

He pointed to a young woman in the front row and said, '
Do you know what your a$$hole is doing while you're having an orga$m?'

She replied, 'Probably fishing with his mates.'

It took 45 minutes to restore order in the classroom.........
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Pleased to report back on today's list. Tidied 2 kitchen drawers. Also made a start on the kitchen ready for tomorrow as I was feeling full of energy! Washing up also done (DH will be pleased) and new load of laundry (DH's running gear mainly) hung up.

dusty - take it you're referring to the book thing - I'd seen a few more as films too. Can def recommend some to read. I'm very poor on the classics. I bet if me and DH put ours lists together we'd have done better!

Ooh, forgot to say earlier, my magimix freebie discs offer has come, apparently. About time. Funny thing was FiL was walking past our flat this lunchtime and saw postie trying to deliver it so said he'd take it to save us collecting from sorting office (which is not open at a convenient time!). Very trusting person though, FiL could've been anyone for all the postie knew!

    Evening everyone.

Missed my bus to work this morning cos they had changed the timetables and I didnt realise. Never mind I got there in the end.

Not amused as my manager was supposed to send the letter I gave her with my retirement date to HR. This was four weeks ago. Checked today and they have not received it. So had to fax it to them.

    Liberty :j :hello:
AHHH! The life of a working mother. I tend to spend until 10pm doing family/house work then from then doing work work. Once I get my life better organised and take back control of my house I can see myself with an earlier bedtime. Until then everything takes longer because I am in constant zombie state. Maybe I should have chosen a job that does not require any work from home.
and that's why I have popped in to say hi and bye...
    until Wednesday
(page 4 just so I miss nowt!)
    missing you all happy flying
