ok confession time here - I have been given gammon steaks by NOF - I dont know how to cook them!
can somebody help - easy idiot step guide required!!
    toots xx
Basically it is an extra large and thick piece of bacon. Just grill or fry until it looks cooked on one side, turn over and grill/fry some more. If you are worried cut it in half and check the middle to make sure it's done all the way through. They are nice with chips and veg, my mum likes to grill a tomato with hers, and sometimes she has mushrooms, or pinapple rings. HTH

Not long been up so having a cuppa before I pack my bag for work. Managed to get a couple of hours sleep.

Dusty I noticed a couple of nights ago that Venus was just above the crescent moon. Not sure if it means something. I will look it up.

lil_me Good photo. The boys will have hours of fun with that.

Toots Good luck with the gammon. I usually just grill mine.

Have managed to strip the bed and put our new cotton cover and sheets on. Have also cleared the area by the bedside cabinets and dusted them

Thanks for that Rose I must have missed it.

I'm not too bad thanks, just waiting for a letter for the appointment, so no idea when yet! I'm going for another lie down, all I seem to do at the moment :o
How are you doing? You know where I am if you need a listening ear xx
I think she's away anyway! I'm worried now in case I got that wrong? Was it her that was going to Whitby?
I'm not too bad thanks. A bit up and down, I keep getting really really tired and lots of headaches, but I'm ok emotionally. I get a bit teary and grouchy but I recover from that quicker than I ever used to. Thanks, it's so sweet of you to want to listen to me moaning on and I will definately take you up on it if I need to talk. xx
You make sure you get lots of rest, if that's what your body is telling you to do, then listen to it!

vivw - have you tried home&bargains for your hair colour? A lot cheaper than the supermarket if they have the right one. or something similar.

Thanks but no Home and Bargains here. When I was up north at half term I did go to one but they didn't have my colour

MOzzy are you doubting my culinary skills?

Dont know how to help you there mine comes through after a week !!! Be interested to see the answer x

I use Nice and Easy and don't want to change as I really like the colour 118C. Have been told on another thread that as the bottles both contain the same amount of liquid. you can measure out so much using a plastic spoon and mix together before adding possibly only to the roots and side wispy bits. Think I may try that
