Thanks Greenbee but your attempts to convert me are futile :p ! I like nice smelly fabric conditioner which I already bulk buy when it is on offer - as I do with all household stuff. Used to buy huge tubs from Makro but I struggle with storage space (no kitchen cupboards and an open plan pantry) and it wasn't much cheaper for the inconvenience. Rather restricted by small boys who are boringly allergic to most stuff as well. I do use it in minute quantities if it is any consolation - extensive experimentation to see how much I need to get rid of the 'cardboard' feel, and lots of disicpline around using the measure not just wastefully bunging some in. I tried vinegar in my early days of OZ zeal and didn't like the results :o . Ditto Stardrops which makes my hands sore. I bet I am not the only one?!?

Triker - how did you get on with the tumble dryer balls in the end?

vivw - have you tried home&bargains for your hair colour? A lot cheaper than the supermarket if they have the right one. or something similar.

DW on yet again. Where do all these dishes come from?

phewww, my back is killing me
BUT i did 2 hours (!) in the frontgarden earlier and it's much nicer now (3 big green boxes with leaves and weeds, everything cut back and you can actually see the flowers now :T - not that there are many, mostly so evergreen plants ...)

OH also mounted a rollerthingy on the door so that the kids can open/close the door by themselves and i don't have to permanently jump up and do it for them :T

downstairs is tidy - and i even put all the washing away :j :D

well done ladies on all the things you did today!!!!!!!! :T

DUSTY could it be that you've got a virus on your pc?!?!?!?!!?? (:D sorry couldn't resist)

I wanted to say a massive thank you to pigpen because last week there was a job 'spend five minutes doing a job you've been putting off for ages' or similar. I emailed a fab friend who I'd lost touch with due to us both moving around etc, he's emailed back and we're back in touch. he's had a tough couple of years and didn't even receive my wedding invite as it wasn't forwarded from his old place. Hoping to meet up soon!

Have had a celebratory beer, footie seems to be nearly done, not sure what our plans are for the rest of the evening, DH's mate will probably hang around for a bit - he's staying for tea.

Greenbee - I meant to ask if you still have those opaque envelopes and if so could I get 3 or 4 - I have an idea for their use but will try it first!

Yes I do. I'll put some in the post for you in the next couple of days, and you can let me know if they're what you're looking for!
