I thought it was Triker going to whitby...

viv - i was going to suggest mixing it up in a seperate container...that's what hairdressers do. I gave up dying mine as I was fed up of the cycle of redoing it but I don't have any grey YET!

My beloved Georgie finding new places for her nap. She was not pleased to be moved. Matthew cat was asleep on my chair just to complete the take over of my space.

Need to put the boys in the bath shortly then sort their stuff for the morning. We have visitors again mid week and hopefully next weekend so really need to keep on top of things.

Its official - I am absolutely done in!!! I feel like I havent stopped for days.

However my roast chicken done in my SC was lovely but the veg was horrible....dont think i will be putting the veg in again!! Did roast spuds, parsnips, carrots and pork stuffing in the oven so all in all, dinner was lush :D

Have cleaned my kitchen about a million times, have also made a chocolate cake, leek and potato soup with some of the chicken thrown in for good measure.......question - the recipe for soup says to add 1/2pt of milk. but ive run out of milk - is it essential to add it to the soup or will it be ok without it?? Im presuming it will be fine, but just more 'broth' like?

anyway, chicken bones are all in pot waiting to be turned to stock and once have done that am going to make some more soup for the freezer. The veg for that is all prepared, so am going to put that all in my slow cooker tomorrow while at work!!! first time it will be on all day - am a bit scared!!

Washed, waxed and polished my car today - first time in MONTHS - in fact probably since last summer!!! cleaned the glass on the inside too, but didnt get round to hoovering it, so will need to do that tomorrow or so.

Have done all washing and drying but NO IRONING!!!!! I have a massive pile now and am so tired and just want to sit down, but i cant. I put the ironing all over the sofa and set the ironing board up in the lounge. I did this cos i knew i would just not do it - having left it on the sofa means i have to do it now to get it out of the way....... I hate myself for being so smart!!

Anyway. All in all, i have done loads this week and am absolutely exhausted, but am hoping will notice a real difference next week when my meals are better prepared, lunches already made and in the freezer etc...... will try to do the following weeks as I go throughout next week, but will wait and see.....dont want to start getting ahead of myself. :rotfl:

Sorry to anyone who Ive missed - Ive only skipped through the thread quickly - have still to read through properly, but in the mean time luv'n'hugs to all who need them!!!

Well done to all you ladies who have managed any flying this week, especially the newbies!!! Stick at it - and anyone thinking of joining, please do!!! You wont regret it and can just do a tiny bit at a time.....you soon notice the difference.

Am off to have a shower....... will sort me out a bit before starting the ironing!!!

Anyone want to join me 7pm - 7.30pm??

    (Positive health vibes to LL)

Greenbee - I've been thinking all weekend about your work colleague issue & totally understand where you are coming from, you have to work with this guy & for all we know he is probably wishing that he'd never sent the message & will be very embarassed tomorrow when he see's you. I think your right if you can treat it light heartedly it may be more comfortable for both of you. I think your idea about lent is good, could you say, 'I would really appreciate the information but unfortunately I won't be able to take you up on the offer of the drink because as you know I have given up alcohol for lent & would not be good company without alcohol. As an alternative I would offer you a bar of chocolate but as I have also given chocolate up for lent would an apple be acceptable?'
Let me know how you get on. Good Luck :grouphug:
