    Sorry ~ forgot about them

Heres any adons you may require (Flash etc)
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:7

google 'google toolbar' if you want that too

Can you elaborate on the 'monitor' thing??

Not sure about the firefox symbols. Do they both do exactly the same?

Thanks, Marty J; another resident :A - ever the voice of reason and wisdom.

    Katie,

No offence was intended personally. Trust aliEnRIK, you're in the safest hands around. Just be sure you realise how lucky you are to have him to turn to. Free.

And therein lies my real point. What, shipwrecked on the rocks of Windows grief, would you do if you didn't have him to turn to?

Not everyone can afford to take that risk. Those who can't, buy Macs.

    aliEnRIK,

You're right about that one! Out of self-interest, Mac users should just remain silent and watch safely in horror from the sidelines.

But it really is all about the operating system, not the hardware. Who'd buy a Mac to run Windows?

That's why I usually stay out of the endless disputes about Macs versus PCs.

You buy a Mac because you want to use OS X and not Windows. So, you pay what that costs: end of story.

What nobody seems to factor in when they get into cat-fights about Macs and PCs is the very real cost in time and anguish that is expended in dealing with the problems Windows attracts. And that dwarfs the difference in buying price between the two.

Personally, I buy Macs because when I switch my laptop on, a thousand miles from home, because I need to use it, I don't want to find it won't work because it's become infected with something. I need it to work - first time, every time, and get the job done with no downtime.

Still, I don't want to disrupt this thread: you've got a damsel in distress to help.

    (Because she's using Windows... )

See ya in another thread, matey, when you aren't so busy on a mission of mercy.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

Dont panic about the monitor thing. See how things progress with that
Delete one of the firefox symbols if they both do the same (Theyre only 'shortcuts' anyways)

Upto you about installing. I tend to put em all on my desktop then install (But only download what you think you need ~ eg FLASH, READER, JAVA and WMP)
