    Youve used ~
    BEARSHARE (Very bad)
Bitcomet (Can be bad at times)
Internet Explorer (Id advise using FIREFOX with the NOSCRIPT plugin instead which will protect you from any dodgy webpages with nasty trojans in)

Dont go installing any MSN smilies or suchlike either

Im not even sure they ARE both still on. But it should be a simple case of uninstalling them as normal

2 other things you can do to try to speed/clean your computer up ~

Download CCLEANER (Click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ UNTICK the yahoo toolbar on installation)
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Run the top 2 scans (Backup the registry when it asks)

    reboot

Download GLARY UTILITIES (Click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
    http://www.download.com/Glary-Utilities/3000-2094_4-10508531.html
    Run the ONE CLICK SCAN

If you're going to follow Rik's advice and use Firefox (and you really should), Web of Trust is a very good addon.

It'll colour-code links and websites to let you know what's safe and what isn't.
