    Thanks Linda

It is the retractable one that I have, but I didn't take it in yesterday as I thought I would be using it this morning.

I will do it in future but I still don't see why I should have to, they are really not causing a problem except for a slight ducking of her head when she goes under them.

    Morning all :hello:

I had a disturbed night last night  (not like that either) Mr Twit has either eaten something dodgy or has got the D&V bug _pale_ Whilst I feel fine, I daren't go and visit my poorly uncle in hospital as I don't want to risk passing anything on

Hope everyone has a good day, I've no plans now, so I'll just potter around the boards and try and squeeze in a spot of housework

For god sake make sure everyone is washing their hands scrupulously as this is one of the easiest ways to spread it if it is Norovirus (d&v bug)

Do not go anywhere near him when he is D&Ving as the spores are released in massive quantities during these processes which are then inhaled by others who then get struck down with it.
Have the windows wide open in the bathroom and the fan on if poss.

The spores will also cling to fabrics such as towels, bedding etc... so I would have a massive washing session on a high temperature afterwards.

Don't go anywhere near the hospital!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Funny you should say that about the washing line. Just had a knock on the door from the LL of next door. Someone has been into the garden when her tenant has been out, cut down a tree and left the ladders and the branches all in the yard. I reckon it's the bloke next door to them. He keeps these horrible show pigeons for some odd reason and the cats used to climb the tree to get at them. Can't blame the cats.. he knows there are lots of cats round here and it's perfectly natural for them to hunt. (Apart from my cat, she is useless). I remember my kids toys going missing over to his garden too in the past.

If you see her today have a look to see if she has a washing line type mark arcross her forehead. Maybe she ran into it and it snapped! :rotfl:

You're right, you shouldn't have to do that but unless you catch her on camera cutting them and take legal action there's probably not much else you can do without it getting nasty which is never good when you have to continue living next to each other.
I would check up on exactly what the terms of her having access through your garden entail on both your parts in the meantime.

  • My box sorting has turned in a furniture re arrange, I am fairly convinced that my disturbed sleep is cos I keep waking up and worrying cos I can't see the door of my room from where my bed was.

It does look like I have lined my furniture up agains the wall now but I do have a bit more room!

    Nevertheless she persisted.
