Why you not been to bed, Tigtag?

    Hello everyone,

I don't usually post on this thread but I am today as I feel very down as my OH has travelled to his new job today that takes him away to other parts of the country lots of the time for the next 2yrs. Hope you don't mind.

I had to stop listening to John Suchet as it nearly set me off crying too.

I'm going to research making a mother's day hamper to cheer myself up and make a list of what to put in it for a hopefully small budget.

Otherwise probably lay in bed feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Actually, really need to do some flyladying for this weekend so will pull myself together and do that instead to take my mind off things!

I used to hate it when my DH used to travel alot with work, it does get easier. How long's he away for? What sort of stuff are you putting in the hamper for mothers day? I must admit to being really un-original when it comes to mothers day and just buying some seeds/plants/compost....always well recieved so I suppose that's what counts.

I love to fly too! I usually put their podcast on when I do it and disappear into my own little world of routines and shiny sinks!

Hamper ideas: a £1 easter egg and A bath bomb from lush.

He's away for a week then back for the weekend and this pattern continues for the next 3mths at least, then for the next 2yrs boo hoo!

Mother's Day Hamper i'm not too sure as my mum has nearly everything, i'm going to look on the celebration thread for some ideas. Thought about a nice bookmark, some nice hot choccie, maybe a new book and a cheap - ish throw to keep warm over legs at night and a cheap basket to put it in, oh, maybe some nice handcream and a cheap bunch of cheery daff's. I know it doesn't sound very inspired so that's why i'm looking for some more ideas!

    Arrggh what a morning already!

My neighbour was blasting out music at 2.45am which kept me awake for a long time, then when i woke this morning I still have conjunctivitis and then had a massive nose bleed.

Then I looked out of the window to see that my lovely neighbour has cut my washing lines - again! She did it a few months ago as well. I am not sure what she wants me to do, they are not really causing her a problem, other than she has to duck under them to get out (she has right of access through my back garden, which is annoying. I don't see why she won't use her front door!)

There is nowhere else I can put them, and what she wants is for me to take them down after I have used them, which I have been doing, but I left them up yesterday because I was going to be doing some washing this morning, and now to add insult to injury there is no sunshine so I probably won't be hanging any out anyway......

ooooooh, good party last night-feeling a little bit tender this morning...

Just made apple and cinnamon pancakes for breakfast and we're going to take the kids to a local garden centre for a run around and then to McDonalds for lunch-they have mithered for 2 days to go and I have finally relented (you can learn a lot from kids and perserverance can't you!) and then a quick shop to Aldi...

MM, I was shocked and appalled by the amount of crap that was being spewed yesterday. It was Troll heaven!

    Luc-glad your spirits are ok.

Tig-hang in there babe and try and get some sleep if you can hun xxxx
