Morning guys, hope you are all well, fayjmck I hope you are feeling a little better today.
I didnt have chance to post on here yesterday, but SM, I am glad you had a nice day with your dad.
I was a busy bee yesterday, went and brought a car, not exactly moneysaving I know, but desperatly needed one, my last one decided to rudely blow up  Managed to get a 2nd hand one for a good price and will pay for it from my savings, so its all budgetted for, haggled for some freebies too so I will pick it up next week once theyve done the work.
Tried to access the cars history last night through auto trader, it didnt work, and they have charged me twice for the privalige! Have emailed them, just waiting for reply now.
So today I
*Have only spent £1 on a paper- and found 2p!
*Will walk to shop to get carrots..and only buy carrots!
* Find cheapest car insurance and go through Quidco
* Duck for lunch, will meal plan for the rest of the week to include left over duck..its a big one!
*Clean bathroom with stardrops
*Laundry hokey cokey and will dry on airers
*Pack up ebay parcel to post tomorrow
Have a great day everyone xxLiving as simply as we can

Andan,i am sory the pamper evening was not as sucessful as you planed. Its such a shame as you went to a lot of effort. But as you said, its a learning cuve and i am glad OH was there for support.
Fay,sending hugs to you,i hope the walk on the beach helped to lift you a bit.
Sophiesmum,hope DD is ok.
Pipsmum,hiope aiden feels better soon.0 -
Thanks cassey,
DD is fine just very bruised and a sore shoulder luckily she was wearing a body protector and hardhat or it could have been much worse. Taking her to gym with me later she can sit in the jacuzzi and relax the muscles -should help a little.
Pipsmum - hope pip feels better soon, nothing worse than a snuffly unsettled baby.0 -
Don't know if anyone follows the chat thread, but I walked out of my job today. Feel liberated because of it, but also realise it was a bit silly coz the new job doesn't start for a few weeks. However, in saying that, I have plans to keep myself ticking over for now and I just couldn't stand one more second in there. Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.
