Hey everyone, hope you are enjoying the weekend.

    1) Nearly had a NSD but have just found out I've won a top off ebay for £3. Might pay for it after midnight, then it won't count!
    2) Storecupboard meals all day, including v cheap dinner of 13p noodles and spring onions. Cheap but not necessarily healthy.:o
    3) Borrowed DVD off my sister.
    4) Friend dropped in with £30 they owed me and a bottle of wine because they forgot my birthday last month.Woo-hoo!
    5) Visited Mum. She gave me her Tesco CC vouchers which is another £20 in deals towards our summer holiday. Will convert our vouchers later so we can book. We have £600 in deals now.:j
    6) B had a friend round and we played silly board games for free entertainment.
    7) Scratch x 10p
    8) Did Toluna survey.
    9) Wrapped up a couple of bday pressies for B and T's friends using wrapping paper liberated from old presents and pressies and cards from stash.

Glad you had a good day with your Dad, SM. I hope it makes for a lovely memory to cherish.

What a relief for you to have your son home, My Mess. I'm sorry for what your family has been through, and glad he is on the mend.

How was the date Spendaholic Chick? How exciting! I am married and therefore have to live vicariously through other people:o

Sans - I like the fact you have got a Herbal essences sample to try out. I expect your stash of 50+ bottles wasn't enough to work out if you like it or not!:rotfl:

    Have a good evening everyone! L x
  • Date wasn't that exciting, Lurleene, so no living vicariously through me (unfortunately!). He was nice enough but there was no spark for me.

Ho hum, onto the next one! If anyone would like to set me up with a tall, handsome thirtysomething man with his own hair teeth and job, and lives in the northeast, feel free :D

applied for two 0% c/cs with my two banks to pay off the two respective overdrafts (leftover from my student days five - eek! - years ago). this means, fingers crossed, reducing my APR from 49.5% (combined) to 0% for the usual limited period.
have been a regular browser on this site for ages but only just signed up for the forums today. the OH proposed on new year's eve so i'm determined to do something about my debts this year so i can start saving for the wedding.
    please wish me luck!

Oh bum, sorry it didn't work out. Still, at least he was nice and you didn't have to leg it out of the bathroom window!
  • Just to add, I've just had a lovely shower with some shower gel I got for Xmas and my free Herbal Essences sachets and I'm letting my hair dry naturally. So that's another thing.
