  • Spent some lovely time with my dad this morning, most of family were there so it was nice to have everyone is same place at one time.Been in a lovely mood all day.:D

Just nipped to boots for a pressie for friends birthday tomorrow, they had electric manicure sets 1/2 price just under £15 so picked up two of those (mum wanted one for someone too), used 2 of the £5 facial vouchers to get eye cream usully £6.84 so just £1.84 each with vouchers, got two more of the free gifts NO 7 bags for spending more than £18, and also got extra points voucher from machine. So lots of value on my spend.:D Was also given another 2 of the facial/haircare vouchers and 2 £5 no 7 vouchers so may pop back tomorrow and pick up a couple more bargains with those;)

  • Hello,
Today I have done more DFW things than I realised! Maybe these things are becoming a habit...? :j

    Today I:
-washed laundry on 30c (used vingear as fabric softener)
    - ate leftovers for lunch
    - made HM cinnamon bread
    - made HM brown bread
    - turned heating off and opened windows to enjoy fresh air!
    - went for walk with OH in the morning. He bought sausage at the market, I didn't buy anything :D
    - using battery on laptop to surf net instead of using electricity
    - checked online banking....all ok.
    - preparing tesco grocery order online, searching for all the lowest price items and creating a meal plan for the week.
    - got 10.50 worth of clubcard tokens (= 40 worth of restaurant vouchers!) so will be using those for dinners out with OH.

All in all a great DFW day!

Hello Again (I'm like a bus, don't post for ages then post twice in the same day!)

Great to catch up with peoples progress DFW wise. Thanks for the 'get wells' - my ankle is getting much better (I am now able to walk on it) mind you, it didn't hamper last weeks trip to Ikea in Southampton  (OMG it was really busy)

Andan, would love to meet up there are so many places to choose

Sophiesmum, hope you enjoy the rest of the day with your dad

Well, I had an interesting chat with a guy at the bank.....I managed to upgrade my account from a basic to a standard (OK there is a fee, but I get discounts on insurance, days out, holidays etc)

So, I am sat at home watching really bad movies and plan on having a pamper and an early night

    Take care

  • Today has been a bad spending day been into London and went to Borough Market, always great fun but expensive. Had some nice food and got some cheap eggs £1 for 6 free range.

    Done daily cards - 10p
Waiting for ebay items to end, currently doing well.

Will do some review this afternoon
    Dinner at home tonight
  • Today I have:

    Done daily card - 10p.
Done b/t from from one c/c to another to reduce the interest - why didn't I think to do that before?
Spend nothing so far and am only planning on buying cereal for the rest of the day.

Not much, I know. But I'm proud of working out the b/t idea on my own. It just popped into my head at the bus stop and I thought, "Go for it." :)

    Happy Saturday afternoon everyone!

    Today I have...

    - Walked to town.
    - Went to Mr Wilkinsons for some more gardening supplies.
    - Dug over the back garden (80% soil space now devoted to veg growing) - the digging was a joint effert between me and DH - and raked.
    - Planted one long row of peas. Slightly early but we'll see how they go. Will put in another row in a few weeks.
    - Marked out the rest of the space ready for carrying on tomorrow.
    - Gained some bushes from neighbour. Have placed where they need to be planted.
    - Planted toms and peppers (from yesterdays list. Whoops!)
    - Found bedding plant seeds, will sow tomorrow.
    - Carried on drying clothes round house from yesterday.
    - Store cupboard meals.
    - Daily clicks and free scratchies (still to do)
    - Surveys

That's it for today. I'm worn out!
