But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:
- check online banking -
- update spreadsheets
- move some money to savings
- make a loaf in breadmaker
- storecupboard lunch and tea
- laundry hokey cokey for OH
- ironing for me
- reduce, reuse,recycle one thing
- swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
- aim for low spend day
- House all clean so no housework to do for two days:j :j
- sparkle a lot

Hugs to anyone feeling poorly or down

Morning everyone. Beautiful day here and I have the day off. I'm off to the sunny Isle of Wight to help my Mum choose a wedding outfit. So today's steps will be very small!
-[STRIKE]Free Scratchies[/STRIKE]- 10p & 25p
-[STRIKE]Gonna offer to buy lunch, so probably not a very LSD after I've bought my boat ticket as well[/STRIKE]! Mum cooked lunch so no spend there and insisted on giving me my boat fare back- yippee!
-[STRIKE]Walking to boat instead of driving which saves petrol and about £6 parking fee.[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE]A bit more ebaying tonight- made £40 since Wednesday which will all come off the cc![/STRIKE]
Think that's my lot. Enjoy your Saturday everybody.

Hi,
Sorry Ive not been around too much. Been really busy recently so much has happened
2 weeks ago managed to stumble in the snow and damaged the ligaments in my ankle - completly lost track of DFW as I cant drive/walk too far/spend money on painkillers etc
Anyhow, my ankle is getting better and I have to be focused on DFW and LSDism
Today I will.....
Breakfast at home
Daily clicks
Chat to friends on facebook/email
Get hubby to drop me off in town rather than get a bus
Had a call from Nat West last week when I was off sick saying they wanted to review my account...I said dont bother as I wont get a bank account (I have a basic a/c), and they said come in anyhow (will let you know if I get something)
Meeting a friend after the bank - meeting in a pub where the drinks are cheap (lime and soda water I think)
Return 2 items as I dont want/need them - the cash is better off in my pocket
Take care everyone, and catch up later

After all the horrors of this last week (my son was hit by a car last Friday, and been in intensive care - he's now home, and recovering, thankfully)...... I'll post a few things for me to do today:
- done free scratchcards (2 x10p)
- checked online banking
- checked credit card accounts online
- will add £20 to my sealed pot
- will make my PAD to A&L credit card
- hopefully a low-spend day - as only need to spend on postage for ebay items, and a few bits of shopping
- lots of washing to be done (low temp, and dry on airers/bannisters)
- go through all of son's clothes and have a clear out
- make up another card I stitched for my mum's friend
- send 'thank you' cards to hospital teams re: son
- make beef casserole in slow cooker (using up all leftover veggies)
Enough for now, I think
