Morning all!
Just nipped on to read the threads before everything.
Got to go see if my watch needs a new battery and also do some homework. I am volunteering for Cafedirect this afternoon at the Tastefair in Kensington during the River Cottage cooking/tasting session of seasonal produce so that should be fun. Have to read about their company first in case I get asked questions. Also gonna phone Tesco to complain about their 50% price rise on some value items.
I feel kinda silly being sad cos I haven't seen my OH since last May when people round here have real problems but it is getting to me more than a little. I sent a care package type thing for a laugh to make them smile and I have had not a word of thanks in return. I haven't spoken to them since before Christmas and I sent them an email which they replied to saying phones stress them out and could I keep in contact by email for now and asking me loads of stuff about what I had been up to etc. I emailed a long one back and over a month later have had no reply. I shouldnt expect much I know cos they never have been one to contact much but I just think it would be a huge but tiny (to do)gesture knowing how long it has been since we last met up.
Hope everyone is well. Hugs to those who need them xxxWhat Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -

The WM has been on none stop, washing on the line and BM on for the second time and the ironing is stacking up. Oh well back to reality.
Popped to Morries last night and was shocked at how much stuff has gone up:eek: but managed to get some YS cod for dinner.
Mioliere, I know you are interested in China and have read a great deal about it, well we were in Kawloon, Hongkong, China, Osaka, Dalian, S.Korea and Japan. Our favorite places were Beijing, Hongkong and Shanghai. We walked along the Great wall, visited the Forbidden City and stood on the spot that the student did facing the tank in Tianenmen Square. It was a great time, I just know you would love it, I thought of you often whilst there.
Hope it's a good w/end for all.0 -

Morning everyone - having a catch up this morning, have had a mad busy week so havent been able to keep up to date.
Anyways WM is on, have 3 washes to do and get dry today and loads of housework to catch up on (my mad busy week didnt include housework unfortunately!) making some choc crispy cakes with kids this afternoon and some hobnobs but will have to resist them again and try not to eat the hobnob mix! Loads and loads of ironing to do tonight whilst watching Casualty - what an exciting life I lead!
Off for a catch up - seems a few of us are having a crappy time of it at the mo so big free hugs from me x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
