I avoided haddock since the least time I found a syringe in the one I was preparing.
Took it back to the fishmonger ...apparently it was a "drug-haddock".0 -
that was terrible...0

By my reckoning, any fish cooked for "4 - 51/2" minutes will have spent over 25 minutes being nuked on full power, so after you have finished standing for 1 minute I suggest you order a takeaway.0

well i've only just pulled it out of the pond so i need to make sure it's dead.0

well mine is spot on.
2 haddock fillets in the microwave.
bit of olive oil in the wok with mixed herbs and spices, bit of pepper and salt, dash of soy sauce and some garlic pepper. heat a small tin of garden peas and sweetcorn and chop a small onion.
Add the sweetcorn, onion and peas to the hot oil. add a bit of chilli sauce for taste and then add the rice, cook a bit longer and serve with the haddock0 -
s-c - if you're using a wok for your veggies, why are you cooking the haddock in a micro:wave: ?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I did a lovely haddock recipe the other night posted on here under a thread title asking about fennel - it takes a while so perhaps no good for now, but worth doing it another time as it was lovely. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
