Are you turning into a girl or sommat?
What's wrong with Super Noodles and four slices of Warbies toasty?Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
the cheek of it !! not turning into a girl but..
I've won £250 on the horses so far this week and just withdrawn that to go on the !!!!!! in Glasgow this weekend.
I've got no super noodles or bread so i decided to raid the kitchen and see what i could do. If i'd gone toot th'Asdas i'd have broken into the Glasgow spending money and done a full shop (well what's left of it after buying a new pair of jeans and taking a bird for a meal last night).0 -
......but still, having haddock fillets in is quite girly isn't it? I mean lets face it, fellas fridges and freezers usually contain economy burgers, premade chilli (divided into 10 portions) a sheperds pie that's been there since 2003, eggs (out of date) margarine, 6 cans, 4 bottled lagers half a bottle of vodka...and 20 empty bags freezer bags.
Have a great time in Glasgow, it's a really nice place (apart from the one way system).Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
not mine.. my fridge is usually empty though unless there's beer in it..
i always forget to divide my chilli and end up with big tubs in the freezer0 -

I love fish so I got a bit of Haddock for my tea tonight. Only problem, not sure how to cook it. Does anyone have any ideas. I love garlic, but not to sure how well it would go with fish. I have most of the usual store cupboard stuff. Thanks for any ideas you can come up with, xOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 086Proud to be dealing with my debts !Total Debt: Was £6368.84  now £945.36Sealed Pot Challenge 049 Aim £5000

When my partner does fish (he does the cooking....how proud am i!) he puts each portion in some tin foil, puts some garlic / butter / lemon juice on the top...rolls up the tin foil and puts in the oven. Yes its simple, and very basic, but I do like fish and we think its nice to have something simple every now and then. We can then simply enjoy the fish.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -
I am doing hake tonight but I am not in the mood to spend a long time cooking, so I will be spreading pesto or bruchetta topping over and then cook in the oven. I know it will turn out nice and I would do the same if it was haddock
I have veggies left from my organic box so will do baked potato and also two other veg in the steamer.0 -
thank you guys, i just found an old naked chef recipe that says to wrap it in tin foil with herbs, butter, garlic etc. Seems really easy. Think I will do this tonight. Only using half of the fish and having to other half friday. Think I will do the brushetta topping then.
