    Hiya people

I came into ownership of a book about the Queens Golden Jubilee and have tried to list it on Amazon but it wont let me .
Can anyone shed any light as to wy this may be please

    Thanks

Can you explain a bit more about what you mean by 'it won't let me' list it - is there no exisitng listing there already or are you getting a message saying you can't list it? Is it a book club or supermarket published book? If you give some more details someone will be able to help.

I've got Amazon open at the moment and for me it has been OK today.

yikes! didn't do research properly on postage for videos. (it's not the same as books). lesson learned. just lost money by selling a vhs too low!! how dumb. i post my stupidity ro remind people to check up on theirs for dvds too - esp since postal rates have gone up. fortunately sold another beaut. of a book at an outrageously large sum so i'm not too down-hearted.
  • I used to post but have been lurking for a while!

Have had a bad on Amazon sold a book which was never listed as being new and have been left Negetive (the worst rating) of feedback saying she couldn't give it as a gift all the details where listed and it was listed cheaper than everyone else to reflect this.

Did comment in the negetive though that my packing was lovely, always a plus! ;)

Stars down to 4 out of 5, at what point do you get kicked off?

    Sorry for the rant!

    Hi Cestlavie,

I got caught out a couple of days ago with a heavy book which I had missed culling due to the increase in postal rates. (Also, I had packaged it rather well and didn't weigh it before I went to the PO as I was in a rush - lost out by a good £1+ as it had to go 1st class too, still hopefully the buyer will be happy)

So here is another reminder to folks to keep an eye on postage rates!!!

Thanks to Teapot2's advice from a few days ago, I can now see the "pending" orders in my account :)

I just received a very odd email from Amazon for one of the pending orders, with the subject line "Your Amazon Listing - Do Not Dispatch" . The email says, 'A buyer has attempted to buy the item or items listed below, but the buyer's payment has been delayed. Please continue to reserve this item for the buyer, but do not dispatch it until you receive confirmation from Amazon that your payment is secured, either through the "Sold, dispatch now" e-mail or by checking that your seller account shows the order status as "Payment complete".'

The thing is, the "pending" order does not show the name or delivery address anyway :) (But I hope it gets resolved soon; the order is over a week old.)

I'm still slowly listing my books, and despite the painfully slow process (listing, waiting, printing, packaging, trudging to the post office), I am starting to find the whole thing strangely soothing & addictive :D

Thanks again, and good luck with your endeavours :T.

Hiya a few weeks ago i tried listing a few items but Amazon kept comming back saying i could not list them due to them not being in there catolouge. So i decided tonight to list a load of books i have , and after reading your thread a few times i put some thought into it.

Im really dissapointed now as for the last hour or more i have entered my details over 20 time s, and it STILL keeps telling me my bank details are inncorrect , i have also recieved an email stating this .

I have tried registering with my Visa Electron card - i then type all my account / card details name etc, etc, over and over and it is still telling me that my bank number is wrong ????? Please can someone help - due to this i have entered my account number and card number on the front ...and none seem to work .
Im getting really frustrated now so any help would be appriciated please?:eek::eek:
