Today I have done 50mins rc dvd with my mum, 30 mins free step on wii fit and rc class tonight (scales are looking bad so far) Got to try and get through tomorrow without any slip ups in the hope that I can record a STS rather then a gain :o

I'd like to say I've been a good girl these last couple of days...so I will :D . I've been very good and stuck to the diet, although I've changed from the Rosemary Conley GI Jeans diet to her Complete Flat Stomach Plan one as I was bored of the other dinners! I've got 33 weeks until my 40th birthday so if I'm good I could lose about 2lb a week and be on target, if not then any little bit will be better than nothing.

It's just as well I changed my weigh in day to Saturdays as today I got up at 8.10am, giving us (me, DS2 & DD) 15 minutes to get ready and get to the bus stop  . We did it but the bus ended up being 11 minutes late  .

  • Hi everyone

Well I feel really bad for not being on here lately but due to lack movement in my shoulder I felt really bad not being to exercise like I was. Then on top of everything else I have also had this lovely tummy bug thing that seems to be making it's rounds. So after not being able to keep anything down for 3 days and still not having an 100% tummy diet and exercise has been the last thing on my mind

So I will weigh in tomorrow and see where I am starting march. Also have Dr's appointment thursday so I hope to find out what the long term damage to my shoulder may be and when I can start exercise again.

I'm trying to keep positive and goal is still in sight. After reading all you latest posts I hope to get out on my bike too but I want to know how you manage to cope with the numb bottom :o

Well done to all who have lost again this week and also those who sts
for the gainers I hope that turns to loss next week.

Have a good evening all :j

Thank you Granywise, Beanielou and BB:)

DS saw Doc today and is going to get some counselling, hopefully it won't take too long for an appointment to come through and he's seems brighter today now that it's out in the open and he has been reassured that he isn't going crazy!

Work was from 9.15am to 7.30pm without a break so I'm afraid 3 small pork pies that were on offer have been consumed throughout the day, but them were very nice and kept me going:rotfl: :rotfl:

Well done all the losers and sts, gainers, don't worry, I will be joining you come Wed:rotfl: :rotfl:

sary, thank you so much for such a fabulous & helpful & caring post:T :T : if you haven't done so, I would keep a copy of that so next time someone asks a similar thing you can post it again.

nnm - well done on your progress: a bmi of 22ish is great and you sound like you are toning up well.
Are you feeling better today Victory?
Glad you had a great time beanie.

Well my BIG announcement is that today BB got exercise:D .
Drum roll: I walked the seven sisters (famous white chalk cliffs with lots of uppy downy bits that always appears in pictureque shots of the south coast).
Just occasionally I wake up and know today my body could conquer the world so we went for it. Beautiful blue skys: we took this photo:

BB that is a fantastic view, and good for you for making the most of a good day health wise. I think that is the important thing when you have health problems. Take it easy on the bad days and muddle through the normal ones all the time knowing you will make the most of the good ones, thats how I try to balance it anyway.

Well I am quite optimistic about my weigh in on wednesday. Tonight I roasted a chicken so OH had 1 1/2 chicken breasts with (fried) chips and bread and butter while I had my favourite roasted vegetable cous cous with a little bit of chicken and was stuffed! I hope my good efforts this week will be reflected on the scales!

I got some padded cycling shorts from Lidl last Thursday, £5.89 - I have survived the 27 miles that I cycled at the weekend unscathed :D

Although they are no longer showing on the Lidl website the very helpful checkout assistant told me they would be displayed in the front of the shop for a fortnight before going into their overspill display room/area at the back of the shop. So, you may be lucky if you want to get a pair.

Wow Sary btw i spotted a photo of you in the arms, you look nothing like your avatar ;)

Darn it! I've been rumbled! My (ex) M-i-L used to comment that Linda, in my avatar, reminded her of me! As it is, I've always rather liked the lovely Linda LaHughes :D

I'm glad my very long post was of some help. I thought twice about submitting such a long post, so I feel reassured that it wasn't OTT. Thanks guys!:o

There are some good losses being reported this week, and STS's. Remember anyone who's had a bit of a wobbly week, or a gain, it can always be Day 1 again starting tomorrow.

OK, will quickly post my food today, then I'm off up to bed:
    B - porridge
L - some left over chicken, 1 hot x bun, a banana (spread out over afternoon)
D - chicken, veg (very small portions)
    Snack - some Ritz crackers

the day was rather disjointed today, hence my odd eating. My cold makes me feel peckish, but then I don't want much. I've been having a little and often. More lifting & carrying later on transporting shed panels to my new home. Dinner was late, but little. I don't usually snack late, but I needed something to tide me over til tomorrow.

    Night all x

Dragon are you really eating such a little tiny amount? I didn't realise that your meds had such a drastic effect. Oh Dragon :(:(

    Sary what great advice.:T :T

Yeppers! Steroids such a WONDERFUL thing for aiding and abetting weight loss NOT! I have never been a large scoffer of ... well ... scoff and given half a chance and a prevailing wind I will stop eating all together! :o

awww dragon, what a bummer. some great losses coming in too, and what a fab post from sary! You know, I don't remember being allowed to be choosy with food when i was a kid. MY mum's a bit funny with food and saying 'i don't like cabbage' seems to somehow get translated into 'i hate your cooking and i don't love you' when she hears it; so we would all eat everything she put in front of us to avoid an incident. OF course it did help that she's a fantastic cook. My brother would make attempts to be picky, but she would just flat out lie to him. We often had soup for lunch and to this day i don't thin ben realises that the parsley in the chicken soup was generally asparagus, veg, leek etc.

    well, yesterdays paln was

    cocopops and milk, oj
    cn cornflakes and milk, apple
    minced beef hotpot

    and ended up . .

    cocopops and milk, oj
cn cornflakes and milk, bag raisins
    cup soup
    minced beef hotpot, tom juice

feeling all better today, so off to work to see what impact hte stocktake has had. v excited about that!

    Todays plan is

special k oaty and milk, oj
    cn cornflakes and milk, apple
    cup soup
    mushroom risotto

The sewing is definitely helping the snacking!
