Going to declare a sts this week, I was being really good but my best mates hubby told her their marriage was over so been supporting her a lot and kind of slipped a few times with wine (oops!) and Chinese takeaway!

We've decided that instead of drinking wine when she comes round we are going to do an exercise dvd together. Wonder how long that'll last?!

On a good note I've discovered how much I love swimming, I've been going to the gym at least 3 times a week but my rheumatoid arthritis flared up, even though I only do low-impact stuff so I decided to bare all in a swimming costume instead! Swam 1000m this morning and can't wait to go back on Tuesday when I'm supposedly working from home!!!;)

Anyway, welcome all new people and hope everyones weekends are going well x

    Hi Guys (she says shamefully)
I have been without PC and had poorly kids and have been majorly busy(I know they are poor excuses but put them all together with a full time job, part time tutoring and you can see where I am coming from)
I have been fairly good on the diet - lost 1lb since I last checked in with you all but have done no exercise as I am simply knackered.
I must restructure my exercise into doable sections because I was finding it so hard to juggle it all before.
    Thanks for you message BB.
Right, all said AND DONE CAN i COME BACK???? please!!!!!!
Put me down for March challenge - hey, where did Feb go!!!!??????
  • Hi Annie, we did miss you, I think it was nmm last week wondered where you had gone.

Welcome back, hope it all improves for you - I struggle to juggle too.

Heya gang have had a weekend off and been truely naughty. I probably shouldn't have seeing as how I have a 1lb gain this week, but I'm blaming that on AF. Haven't even excersised am so bad. Well back on the tracks tomorrow and I should be ok as I have a 12 hr shift so no real time to be naughty, need to take 2 meals to work though, so need to think about that.

BB congrats to your OH fingers crossed it leads to better things :)

Am slightly worried about next weekend as I'm away with Army Cadets and the meals we generally get served up tend to be hugely calorific...eek! Now I can't not eat obviously, can't really take my own food as theres no where to keep it so I suppose I'll just have to try and pick the best meal I can. Really need to consider some healthy snacks to take along though, something easy to store, am thinking mixed nuts.

well, I'm nearly at the end of week 1 of my very long journey and am not looking forward to stepping on the scales tomorrow (I'm not sure Monday is the best day for it!) I have spent the past 4 days up in the highlands at my Dad's house and have been eating and drinking as well as I can but have had a few slip ups (leek and gruyere tart followed by panna cotta anyone?! Oops! and that was just today)

On a positive note though - I have just signed up for the Edinburgh Moonwalk https://www.walkthewalk.org which should not only be fun but will hopefully help with the weight loss (the thought of parading round town in a bra at the moment scares me!)

Anyone else doing this or have any handy hints?!
