Hi everyone, here's what I've been up to this week :)

    Monday: Nowt
    Tuesday: Run 21km half marathon 2hr 29mins (1233 cal)
Wednesday: Cycling 40 mins (211 cal) and Weights 16 mins (0 cal)
Thursday: Swimming 30 mins (204 cal) and Ice Skating 66 mins (387 cal)
Friday: Cycling 26 mins (156 cal)
    Saturday: Nowt
Sunday: Weights 20 mins (0 cal)

Total 5hr 48mins and 2191 calorie burn. I've eased off on purpose over the last few days because I have a bit more time available next week so I wanted to be nicely rested before going for it ;)

Ate too much yesterday so back on the calorie counting today even though I said I wouldn't be doing it this weekend :p TOTM due as well, so this morning's weight check was horrible :rotfl:

FFM well done on how you're doing - I know you were feeling a bit down a few weeks ago, but you've made a brilliant effort to turn that around, and succeeded! :D Glad you got registered for the bike ride, I'll look forward to hearing about your training! Congrats on the long ride today!

Buttonmoons - after a heavy meal or binge the actual food/drink in your stomach can weigh more than it's eventual 'stored fat weight' by the time the body's done it's job of converting all it needs to :) Don't worry - it's completely normal, just give your body a few days to settle down and you should find the real gain is nothing like 4lb. Even tomorrow will probably be a bit better if you're back on plan today :) (Could the medication be causing a bit of weight gain too? Does it say anything in the leaflet about side effects?)

Hi to all the new peeps! Good luck everyone for the week ahead!

Welcome newbies, this is a fine place to be:D

    Good call Vic!
Sometimes it can take a whole lot of effort to recognise that your body might need a break! especially for someone as dedicated as you!

Yeah, don't know what that was all about - possibly the winter blues  Exercise and getting out in the fresh air has really helped though - I feel like my old self.

I love your training regime - just wish I could find the time for that - I like the fact that you find time most days to fit something in.

Victory, hope you're feeling better after your meal out - look after yourself.

    FFM :)

You haven't experience my massage techniques then:D ...I don't do crystals and whale song, more of a hob nailed boot and iced water experience:rotfl:

Victory - look after yourself, your body can only take so much and its had enough: that is not your fault.
Hope you havea lovely meal today. An thanks for your support re OH's job - I can only hope it it'll soon be your turn.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

That sounds a bit more appealing - though I don't think it will be my feet in need of medical attention :o

Not sure how you will recognise me among the other 27,000 cyclists - I don't really look like my avatar - I'm sure we'll work something out :D

Hi to everyone and all the newbies:hello: Well done bb's OH, it must feel great:D
I really need to post more, I'm sure I would be doing and feeling much better, it's still a bit of an uphill struggle at the moment.
DS2 was assulted a few weeks ago by a guy high on drugs but was very lucky he only lost a tooth as the nutter was carrying a knife. He moved back home and has finally admitted that some help is needed so app with the Doc who has always looked after him booked for tomorrow. Hopefully things will slowly start to improve coz he is very difficult to live with at the moment and I feel worse that I'm finding it so hard to bite my tongue. Oh well, always said it's a mothers place to be in the wrong:rotfl:
Diet was back on track but off the rails again, don't seem to be able to face proper meals at the moment and constant craving for 'bad' stuff.
And just to top it all my (very) elderly mom has just informed me that my (even more) elderly father was in hospital last week but she didn't tell me coz there was nothing I could do and she knows how busy I am. No, no, no:mad:

Sorry everyone for the rant but I do feel a little better, thanks:o :o

    Now it's time for...:EasterBun
    Have a good eve

Pet it sounds as if you have much more important things on your mind than planning your eating. :grouphug: to you and your family.
