Lose Weight 25

welcome PJ - my honest first thoughts is have you seen your GP? Sometimes underlying problems can cause weight issues- like thyroid probs. Your body seems to react quite extremely to food changes/low blood sugar and I seriously thing you should take this to a dr if you haven't already done so.
Any blood loss when you go to the toilet should be double checked to, unless it is bright blood from a haemeroid( and you are sure about that). I'm sure others will be along soon with all sorts of ideas.
Thanks you all your good wishes peeps; it is a great boost to his flagging morale.
dmv - great news about the 'outfit':D : and glad to hear you feeling more positive again about it all. This whole weight loss thing is full of these ups and downs and that is where this forum is such help.
I feel I am beginning to get to grips with my eating again and still maintaining damage control which is good. I'd love to get a good walk into my schedule for this week off work. If the weather is fine monday perhaps we'll go for it then.
Victory - a great result with the dog experiment - so sensible to have a trial run and get such a clear answer. Sounds like a dog just would have been a stress for you and OH.
Are you getting back to plan ok Marion?
nnm - I think you earned a night of HHSS. - welcome to temp membership of the sofa club (shove up beanie, we've got a visitor).I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
*sneaks in quietly so no-one notices*
I've put on 2lb this week  . I've still been poorly and also we had a huge chinese takeaway last night as we had family over. So I PROMISE that I'll be good from now on. I feel really bad as everyone is doing so well and I'm letting the "team" down.
But...this time next week I should be reporting a good loss.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £81,810.42 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £167.59 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £1,406.55 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -
Thanks BB, i enjoyed my HHSS
but it's just me and you today, Beanie is on her way to the DFW Manchester Meet, not stalking honest :rotfl: We can be nosey at the photos later
Well done on the damage control, once the nicer weather arrives everything will be better, sunshine always makes people feel good
My workouts have inspired my OH, although he can't do much he has asked me to buy some weights so he can exercise a bit, i'll use them too so it's all good.
PJ, do you do any exercise as well as the diets? Maybe increasing that would help shift some weight as it'll work to tone the muscles and burn excess fat.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

Hi purplevamp - you're not letting anyone down - : there's a good smattering of sts's and smalll gains here and when you are ill you have to look after yourself and watching what you eat has to take a back burner. Get well first.
Thanks nmm - you are right about the sunshine, we've had 2 very spring like days here and it certainly makes me feel optimistic about getting abit more exercise. Good news that you DH feels up to using the weights and you've found a bargain. And thanks for the info on beanie's where abouts - sounds good. These various mse commnuities are really fabulous - I can't imagine life without it now.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Good choice nmm, that's the weights set I have for home use
(And no I didn't pay full price either - hehehe!) Deffo a good value for money set. Enjoy!

OMG:eek: I finally managed to the get wii fit out of the box and set it up. I didn;t really have much time to do exercises as I had to go and make dinner but......... it calculated my wii age at 43! I;m only 31 and a 1/2! I was most put out about my mii getting fat too, I wasn;t expecting that! Prob a good thing though, encourage me to loose it. DS though it was hilarious (he's 4 and a half!) that the both the mii and mummy were FAT!
I did the short run and I think I should have gone to the loo 1st, iykwim
I was done in after just that running..... I think this will either make me into a gorgeous, fit toned me or kill me!
Anyway, thats all to report for now. I;m off to the shop to get some choc, I feel an urgent need.
Can I join in on the HHSS this evening BB and nnm?
To tired for anything else other than staring at the pretty lights coming from the box in the corner.....
See you guys later

Reporting a 1.2lb gain this week on 11879 calories - this puts me 2.2lb over my maintaining weight.
I'm quite happy with that because I have exercised well this week and not gone OTT with eating, so I think it's more muscle than fat, especially as my measurements have reduced very slightly - 1/8 inch upper arms, 1/2 inch hips and 1/4 inch one of my thighs (but not the other :rotfl: )
This week I did 3 gym sessions, 1 spin class and 1 horse riding lesson
Today, which is the start of my new week, I cycled 9 miles - got hot and sweaty, but otherwise no ill effects. 5 more of those and it is the equivalent of the London to Brighton (for which I am signing up for tomorrow on line as soon as it is open :j ) - we've set up a team from work - should be a right laugh.
