yes it was thanks beanie: again, very gentle, so doesn't feel too threatening, yet is still very intense. Too soon to see obvious benefits, but I know it must be good for me and is making me a little more conscious the rest of the week and about posture etc.
Do you know why the weekend has been a disaster food wise?
Glad you made full use of the downtime marion - can't say my house has benefitted:o.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

It no longer shows how many posts people have been thanked in! BB I took your front garden post with quite a dirty mind lol, so you gave me a chuckle there. Was very naughty at the farmers market, but mainly stuff for OH not myself! However, I tried a taster square of chocolate cake and it was sooooooo amazing that I had to buy it. Its quite a small one and has chocolate buttercream in the middle, was a bargain at £3! I may have a slice of OH's coconut cake at some point, but wont touch his tarts or sweet chilli pork pies! Oh and some lovely sweet local strawberries...but thats guilt free! I'm childminding for a bit on tuesday so will be able to "get rid" of a couple of slices of the choc cake then, good for the waistline! Hmmm just realised I havent eaten yet today, off to do some soup and then roast chicken with potatoes, carrots, parsnips, peppers, mange tout and baby corn later. Yum!0

LOL dmv - except I would never describe that delightful part of my body in suvh a derogatory way:D
Beanie - snap - I could never ever forget to eat either. Just doesn't compute as a possiblity. But well done dmv for realising and going to get something healthy and sustaining.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Glad to see MSE is back. Was lost without it. I love reading random threads.
Had a Pizza Hut last night - Oops, though it was just 1 slice of pizza I had, 1 slice of Garlic bread, 1 bbq chicken wing and that was it. I had barely eaten throughout the day so at least I didn't binge and munch half a large pizza like I would of done way back when.
I've caught DD's cold - Fab.
Had such a scare this morning, OH got up with DD as she got up REALLY early (for her) 7am, probably because she is all bunged up. Only for him to wake me up 30mins later in a panic, he had fallen asleep whilst he was supposed to be watching her (not the 1st time he has) and she went and drank some of my airwick liquid air freshener :eek:
It's a total shock but she really isn't the sort of kid to put ANYTHING in her mouth (food included!!)
Anyways, she ended up vomiting all over OH - Just desserts there.
It wasn't very much she drank, and loads of it was over herself, but I was in a tizz, phoned NHS 24 and they said just to keep an eye on her.
I ended up arguing with OH because he said it was MY fault for buying it in the first place - What, I can't have my house smelling nice?
It was HIS fault for falling asleep and not watching her. So we aren't talking now and I'm gonna go p!ss on his toothbrush (joke.....;))
That was enough excitement for one day!
Making a Roast Dinner now. Smells lovely, OH is getting the meat of the legs because he hates that parts......
Just find it hurtful he'd blame me when it's clearly his negligence that caused the accident. He always says he's tired blah blah and can't help fall asleep - here is an idea, DON'T LIE DOWN ON THE SOFA!
I have NEVER fallen asleep whilst watching DD, no matter how tired I am, and I only average about 4hours sleep a night because of OH's snoring and my inability to fall asleep quickly.
Anyways, enough moaning from me.0 -
Well i spent today sweeping moss from the garden path/concrete area and de-grassing the patio, it was lovely sunshine so enjoyed doing it. Now i need some rain to wash it all for me
The dogs ran around chasing the ball and are now out cold in their beds :A
Did Tae Bo last night and going to have a rest night tonight, hope everyone has coped without MSE, i didn't check back after my post so didn't know about the yahoo group.
BM, hope DD is ok and defo your OH's fault.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
Buttons I echo what your nmm says about your daughter and OH, and I hope you are ok after the shock/row.
BB I'm glad you dont talk about yourself in that way!
Hope you feel better soon beanie.
RE realising I hadn't eaten. I didn't get up till 10am, got showered dressed did my hair etc and then went straight to the farmers market. Got back, got OH up and fed (crumpets and then yucky por pie) and took the dog straight out. Then I got on here and felt hungry as I had finally stopped running around! If I had just been at home all that time I would have definitely have eaten wayyyy before then! I can't eat as soon as I get up so always fall into the same trap if i go straight out, so now I tend to keep a higher cal sugary cereal bar (cheap version of nutrigrain 165 cals) to keep me going till I can get something sensible to eat. Nearly gave into an ostrich burger at the market earlier tho just out of curiosity!0 -
Im reporting an STS today please.Happy with it anyway, since I really didn't try hard last week. Had my vitality breakfast this morning and then made some noodles and sausages (the tinned kind) with some pasta sauce for lunch. I think we're having steak tonight-but Im not sure as Ive not been allowed in the kitchen. My hip gave way last night and I fell down the stairs and broke my baby toe. I've never broken a bone in my body and it's agony, and DS keeps standing on it so Ive been told to sit down and hide it. We watched Tin man this morning. I did an ov test this afternoon but DF refuses to call it a positive because the line is faint-but its there and my temp dropped from yesterday-so we'll have to wait and see.
BM that is very scary. I would tell OH what to do with himself. I get very annoyed when they come home for week ends and moan all the time about how hard they worked all week and that they deserve the week end off:mad: I must be honest-luckily DF is getting better all the time.
BB glad you're enjoying pilates.0
