Options
This is my 1st post so pls bear with me!
I have sent in a cashback claim in november 05, called and recieved confirmation
had a couple of suggested times as to when i will receive the cashback cheque, but still nothing!
I have been trying to call them, but always no answer or engaged, and have emailed.
i have full details of the people i spoke to, and sent the claim by recoreded delivery.
What can i do? The cash back is quite a sizable £330!
any suggestions welcome
thanks in advance.

They were updating offers in January. Try the sales line as that will be well staffed (they normally are!)

If you want to ring them, ring 01277 261700 instead of the 0871 number advertised.0

Hi,
I've been having exactly the same problems as you. They owe me 510 (Pounds). What can we do? They don't answer the phones.0 -

This is a rare public outing for me, but I feel that the issue at hand is serious enough to warrant a comment about my own experience with this company.
I have to say that I don't think the omens are good with this one.
I have a couple of basic rules which I follow on my site, one of which is that nothing gets listed unless I am in full receipt of cashback t&cs and schedules and I can establish an open channel of communication with someone in the company. It's not, by any means, guaranteed to weed out all the bad'uns in the industry but, in this instance, it was responsible for the absence of Talkworld from my site.
Talkworld's website sent me round in circles with its apparent lack of information regarding the cashback terms and schedules and FOUR emails to TWO separate Talkworld email addresses over a 6 week period (mid December 2005 - end of Januray 2006) resulted in ZERO response.
Now...it's one thing to fob off your customers. However, to repeatedly ignore someone who is capable of promoting your products (and, given the relevant information, willing to do so) is a clear sign that all is not well within the company.
I do hope that I'm wrong but it looks to me as if the writing may be on the wall.
Reestit MuttonFor anyone wishing to contact me privately to ask me a question, can I ask that you email me directly as my PM box is often full.0 -
They are really cheats.. I have been speaking to them for the last 4 weeks. Till feb 02 they were saving cheque has been despatched, lost in the post and all sorts of lies..
After that I have tried phoning/emailing/ threatning them legal action, no response whatsoever.
I checked with the companies house, they have dissolved one other company called "TALKWORLD WEBSITE LIMITED" on 31st jan 2006.
We shouldn't allow these conmen to start a new company0 -

I can't answer that.
Have you contacted the 'phone company and explained the situation? If the contract was similar to e2save etc, then Talkworld were acting as the 'phone companies agents, I don't know if that's been successfully tried elsewhere.0
