computer game wont load!

Your stuffed im afraid. Im not sure WHY you cant install it exactly (Unless its checking for your memory card, or maybe a conflict with some software), but even if you could - it wouldnt run.

Thanks all...to ebay it goes!! Anyone recc a game that I could use - ie strategy game that doesent involve killing the masses, with my computer?

Youve got to understand that your computer probably wont play ANY 3d game (which is 99.9% of all commercial games these days)

you sure now dats base!! Have had a idea...I have a hp pavillion dv-1000 would that do it? I havent used it for ages cos its used to shut down when I used it alot but would that work just for the game?

the acer seems to have more than the game requires, as does the HP. No guarantee the game will play well, or that you'll like it...but it should be OK for you...and it's cheap (because it's old) probably even cheaper on ebay...maybe a couple of quid or so

oops sorry...doh! The game (city life) is installing and so far so good...fingers crossed!
