computer game wont load!

Hi there,

I've got an Acer aspire 5000 and purchased Citylife 2008 but it wont load.

game here:

laptop here;

Not being at all computer literate (description like reading Russian!) cant understand why it wont load. Can anyone advise what I need to add to get it to work, as cheapy as possible!!

Many thanks...in advance :D

    Indeed. It's an integrated graphics card that, realistically, is going to struggle to run any game with a half decent requirement graphics wise, if indeed it runs them at all.

  • What version of Windows do you have (right click on My Computer, then click properties and it should tell you there)

    And, double click on My Computer and how much free hard drive space do you have?

    In this case you are getting Hard Drive space (of which you have plenty) confused with memory (of which you don't)
    It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical
  • sadly, the firs bit, as you can only add extra memory to laptops, changing the CPU or graphics chips is, occasionally, possible, but not cheap, easy, or worth the bother.
