The E-Value code taken from The Sun is:

    NPUK5-N02135

However the price on the website comes in at £339 with 90 day return so might be worth a call if you are going to buy one!

i think that might be excluding VAT? I found on the dell business site can get it to 299 with 90 day warranty free delivery, but it says this price excludes VAT :(

    nevermind ignore me lol
  • Here's a post I made earlier:

Just of the phone to dell. I said I wanted to cancel as the laptop was too expensive. They offered me 10% off I said 15% please and she said yes.

Try it it may be worth while.

Hope this helps someone else to get a cheaper deal.

Just called Dell to cancel my order from last night for an Inspiron 6000 (£675) after hearing of a better deal on the 630m (£486) on the "Great Laptop Hunt" board this morning.

Was expecting them to try to offer a discount to stop me cancelling but nothing at all was offered! All I said was "I'd like to cancel my order please" and she said "That's fine - I'll do that for you now and call you back later when it's confirmed".

I called the number on the order confirmation. Maybe they've been inundated with phantom cancellations and put a stop to the discounting!

Yeah you are right, best to ring. The newspaper add does say the £299 price includes VAT and delivery.

dont give any code just tell them you want the £299 laptop you saw in the paper this morning a dell inspirion 1300.

they know exactly what you are on about, and proceed to try to put you off and sell you loads of upgrades so they can make money off it.

if you dont cave in you can get if for £299 no problems

although the bigger screen at £35.25 & bigger battery £11.75 are worth it.

She also tried to sell me a carry case case for £60 + VAT, i held off and got offered it for £25 in the end.
