Crikey Sami you really DID kill the thread last night! :eek: I expected PAGES this morning and just a couple of posts!
Well another day in the office today and not really looking forward to it in all honestyMy hips and back are back to the same pain level as they were before I was signed off sick after just one day (well ok they started heading downhill after my treck to central london last week for occupational health
)
What worries me more is that Roo has been pretty quiet since yesterday... she's still moving but not as much as she has been - hoping she's just having another growth spurt and will be back to kicking the living daylights out of me by the end of the day - if she isn't then I'll call the MW or doctor tomorrow morning - If she hadn't been moving at all I'd have been calling them now but she's squidging round, just not as active as normal if you know what I mean?
Oh well, guess I should go have a shower and think about heading in to the office... bah humbug! Don't wanna!

Hope everyone has a good day and all the scans go well. Labour vibes to all who want themxx

Tine, I'm finding baby a lot quieter than it was... More 'squirmy' movements than kicks now... I'm putting it down to less space in there... And this one is definiteley more active than Aimee... I could spend all day waiting for her to move, this one needs no prompting....
Sami, I'm not a bad baker actually... Only reason I don't bake more is because I eat it all... I make fantastic chocolate brownies... So squidy gooey and ridiculously bad for you... (And Ratty got buried in the wheelie bin... It's not that I'm heartless but I don't want any cats or foxes digging her back up again... If she'd of timed it right and gone Sunday, she could of been buried under the christmas tree that I finally nagged hubby into planting out... But she missed the boat there...)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Morning all!
sami bee - thanks for keepin' it real on the food front! :cool:
I'm def with you on this oneDH and I are maybe a bit too chilled about everything but we're hoping the vibe will mean a chilled baby
Went skiing at 7-8 weeks (horror on GP's receptionist's face as I explained why my booking in needed to be a week later) and have generally eaten what I wanted (hmmm... maybe this is why I don't have a baby bump but a lard bump:rolleyes: ). I'm not a fan of blue cheese so that wasn't an issue but have heartily indulged in eggs and medium steaks (can't do well done!) and haven't really thought much about being pregnant.
Having said that am going to try to balance my newly developed sweet tooth (anyone tried Unbearables? Ridiculously sour teddies, but yummy! DH got about 2 and he had to fight for them) with some quality eating. Cue humous and crudites at work.... wonder how long it'll last?!
We were talking names last night. Anyone tried the random baby name generator? It actually came up with a couple for boys that are now on our list! The girls were a bit rubbish though...MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold! :rolleyes:

Lioness I wouldn't have worried about skiiing at 7-8 weeks
I spoke to my GP before I got pregnant as I'd just taken riding back up again and wanted to know if it would be safe etc and he was happy for me to carry on riding for the first trimester - as he said: The baby is so well cocooned inside that IF I was to fall off then I would have to be seriously injured before it was likely to cause any damage to the baby - so much so that their first concern probably wouldn't be the baby...
As it was my morning sickness was so bad I couldn't even think of riding after 4 weeks and was in hospital with dehydration at 6 weeks lol - but it did put my mind at ease... whether I would have continued I don't know... I did have a bad habit of falling off a lot :rotfl:
Krystal - Roo has definitely become more of a squirmer too... I think I expected that as she's running out of room but it's just that she's not squirming as much as she was... Although just to prove me wrong she's squirmed from one side to the other just now :rotfl: toad!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Mine too, in fact, now the boss knows I'm PG I suspect he'll start being over-protective especially later on. Am due to go overseas in a couple of weeks and he was wondering if that was a good idea bless him, am only 13 weeks! Later on I'll really appreciate that though...
Have you got anyone to look after you or make a fuss of you?MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold! :rolleyes:
