.. When I had my 20wk scan they didn't say which way baby was laying, so I've no idea what direction the feet are at the moment!

Mine was in the foetal position (ironically!), face down. Feet by my left hips, knees to my middle, bum on left side, head on right. Made sense as I'd felt movements near my left hip (kicks - think donkey kicking backwards!) and to the right of my belly button (punches or elbowing).

Not sure what's going on in there now - can see my belly moving lots in the middle low down though. Fighting with the buttons on my trousers and jeans, I reckon!

ETA: Yay, chopsticks, you have an avatar! :D

Just a thought about 4d scans for those of you who weren't around...
I had to go back twice for mine because Bubba wouldn't play ball...which in the end took me to about 31 weeks. Much longer and I wouldn't have been able to have one (they don't do them after 32 weeks because there is not enough fluid to get a clear picture. So don't leave it until the last minute - you may be very disappointed.
My place warn they are best done before 32 wks but can do them up until bubs is engaged up to 37wks

Snufflin - Congrats!! Your lil Axel was just over 7lb 11oz ;)
    ...
She also told me I would have to remove my undergarments to have a sweep - NO  REALLY!!!
I did tell you I forgot to take my nicks off before MW could see how far dilated I was didn't I?:o:rotfl:

I could however do with recommendations for bath supports/chairs etc. I cant use the kitchen sink, it mings!!
Can't you just clean the sink? :p I used a baby bath I was given, don't go spending loads coz bubs will be in the big bath before you know it!

Even on my notes it says 'refused dietician', but it doesn't say anything about my smoking ~ how crazy is that?!
even though it says on my notes that I do not and never have smoked I get asked at every appointment if I do  Surely they would be able to smell it if I did and I clearly don't smell of smoke :D

I'm not sure what my BMI is or what is even classed as OK. Might have to work that one out. I know I weighed 55kg when I saw the Dr when I was about 6 wks pregnant but I haven't been weighed since and we don't own any bathroom scales either, so I've no idea how much I've put on.
I was 55kg at booking in and I'm 5'3" just that gave me a BMI of twenty something which is "perfect" ;) so provided you aren't about 4 foot tall your fine :D

Chopsticks - I break all the rules (except Tuna one coz Tuna is minging!! - sorry Tia and moldy cheese *yuk* oh and alcohol coz I'm allergic!:p) I thoroughly enjoy runny eggs, rare steaks, unpasturised cheeses etc. If you would normally eat the yogurt then I would still eat it now, the reason in france they still eat soft cheese n pate is because they say the mum2B will have already built up a resistance to the bugs so very little danger they would get ill
V pollow would prob work if you sort of straddle it so one end is under bump and other is inbetween ur knees, If you do get a body pillow £10-15 is a good price although mothercare sell them for about £40  I got mine for £12 from Costco

    No fried eggs
Nobody told me, I've had literally dozens, im fond of my fry ups.
Not eggs in general just not supposed to have runny yolk (although if u like I'll post a link to an article published by the Association of Radical Midwives that shows the risk is so tiny its really not worth following the advice!)

Thanks for all that info Sami.

I'm about 5ft 4, so my BMI is prob around the same as yours I'd guess.

I'll have a go with the V pillow (just to save spending even more money) and see how I get on but if it doesn't work well, I'll look at getting something else. Now you've said you got yours from Costco for £12, I remember there was a discussion about it over the weekend (my memory is not too good at the moment!). Is it just me or does the thought of a massive pillow in bed with you make you think it's a lot of hassle - heaving it around if you want to roll over etc. Or am I just making a mountain out of a molehill?
