Decent car seat and seperate buggy.

Have to say that I hate seeing babies in carseats being pushed up and down the town. I don't see why anyone would need a travel system, it's not good for baby to be in those car seats so why proplong it by using it as part of your pram too? And I don't think 'just nipping into one or two shops so it wont be long and it saves me time' is an excuse. I had a car seat that could attatch to the pram but I never used it like that. It only takes a min to move baby from one to the other.

Just my opinion. Bit of a ranted opinion right enough...

Plus you will then get a wider choice :D

LOL I had actually just been thinking the same thing, I rarely had aston in the carseat on the buggy when he was born anyway as he was born right in the middle of a heatwave anyway.
Ok so now looking for a carseat and base!

I'm wondering what I should do when I've got to go places with the baby, that aren't in walking distance. Won't happen that often, but how do I get somewhere (by taxi) when I've then got to walk at the other end?

we got a travel system as we only have a little 3 door corsa and its hard to get an adult in the back let alone a adult carrying a baby, i thought it would be safer to put bubs in a seat which we can then click in than have to climb in the back of the car with him in our arms each time. and money being a huge issue meant it was cheaper for us to get a travel system in the sales than a car seat and a pram! it was a mothercare one which has now been discontinued, not very attractive but it will do the job. i eye all your posts of pretty prams with envy!

    God I'm completely stumped now.
Thing is I bought the buggy and we paid half the money on a debit card and the other half cash, so I'm guessing they wont give me the full amount back in cash will they?
At least if i have the money back I can look at other places.
