My hubby was soo scrawny when I met him (he'd been really ill with his IBS barely eaten anything for about 6months ) he wore the teeniest underpants :rotfl:about 30-32 waist, and after 7yrs of me feeding him up he buys large pants 36 waist and extra large tops :D

Is it wrong that I have absoutely no idea what size trousers DH wears?!? And I hope and pray that he doesn't know my size!:rotfl:.

He buys all his own stuff and I even have to ask his shoe size every year when Mum buys his xmas slippers! :D.

Jvic - ask about the HiPG one too as u prob won't see her again for 4weeks if ur "normal" (ie not high risk) she may say u have to be 25wks (which is true) but most MWs are happy to post date the form, just make sure you only post it off once that date has passed! :D
    Well I'll be 24 + 4 by then so I won't be far ask. I'll ask, it's worth a try. Thanks

Home again! Was on the trace for 30 minutes, and it was completely fine. Blood pressure is back to normal and no protien in urine. I don't understand how it comes and goes! I'm careful to only give a sample straight after washing so it isn't contaminated, so I don't get how it keeps coming and going. I feel really sick and headachy, midwife thinks the baby is have a growth spurt and thats why I feel so rough.

    Great news, feelie! :T

I always did a midflow sample after my shower and mine was always up and down too:confused:.

I'm feeling very relaxed now - I bought the ministry of sound chill out album from Tescos the other day (with my shopping!) it was £7 for a 3 disc album and it really does the job for me. Thought hubby would hate it but he is liking it too!

Wanted something really relaxing for the birth but not too slow IYSWIM. I also cringe at the idea of singing along so most of these are instrumental which suits me fine!

    Now for some ironing!

You're doing this just to annoy me now, aren't you. :D:D

Was thinking of you this morning (not in a creepy way, honest!). Even DH is now asking if you have had Bubs yet! :D.

When I was moved to the delivery suite all I recall from the TV was the 'dud duh' of Law & Order! :rotfl:

I always thought that screaming was just a waste of energy! How can you be putting all your energy into a push if your screaming? With DS1 the woman next to me was a screamer. Non stop screaming, she must have been knackered before she was even pushing (she was there from about 10am untill after I left at 11pm). I had to wonder if she screamed that much getting baby in there :rotfl:

:rotfl:I was most definately a screamer with Jamie!

Not so much as a whimper with Poppy as I had a delightful epidural ;).

  • Been into see nurse to have blood taken. Took 4 vials while i tried not to throw up into a bowl. They had to get me a glass of water and i had to lie down for 10 mins after....Not because of the blood but because it coincided with a wave of morning sickess. She woudln't have it that i am back at work on monday and said i look awful (thanks for that....) so she has made me telephone consultation appointment for tomorrow with my GP and insisist i need signing off. Will see what she says tomorrow.

Have lost 2lb since the beginning of November last week. I am 16weeks today. I am 14stone and 5' 8" (about a 14-16 clothes size) so thankfully I have 'reserves' so at least baby will get what it needs even if i cant eat much of anything at the moment.

Really keep worrying that baby is poorly cos i am all the time. Counting the days till my 20 week scan now (34 days!) as I need to know everything is OK.

Shelvis. Bubs will be fine, honestly. I was like you with DS2. I even threw up in my sleep. Was sick so often that most of the time nothing was there to come up and had to drink water just to bring it back up.

The sickness did not affect DS2 in any way. Infact, he was born at 33 weeks (different complication) and weighed a HUGE 5lb5oz!
