    FG, how close do you hold the bottle to you? Sometimes, letting the wee flow then passing the bottle through the stream is better... Even if it gets all over your hand...

    I've presented my midwives with the most pitiful little dribbles the last two times I've been... I seem to of lost my ability to pee on demand... And I was always so proud of that skill! They still managed to test it though...
    A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
    Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    I always do a midflow sample into a clean jug. Its all very strange! I haven't got good enough aim to get it straight in the bottle!

    Hiya everyone,

    Haven't popped in for a while but I have a question. Hope everyone's Ok.

    I'm going to see the midwife next Tuesday as I haven't had an appointment with her since my 1st one and I'm now 24 weeks. Will she be able to give me my MATB1 there and then?

    Thanks

    Thanks Krystaltips. I saw her briefly Tuesday and she said we'll sort it out next week, I just want to make sure I can take it away then. Me and hubby really need to give it to sort our leave out with our employers, although I've written to them I need to show the cert.

    Thanks again.

    Jvic - ask about the HiPG one too as u prob won't see her again for 4weeks if ur "normal" (ie not high risk) she may say u have to be 25wks (which is true) but most MWs are happy to post date the form, just make sure you only post it off once that date has passed! :D

    I've just polished off 2 slices of Cheese on toast, on with "very lazy cramelised onions" and one with Sweet tomato and chili chutney mmmmmm I think I could manage another 4!!

    That could possibly be why it comes up like that, if you dont pee straight into the pot.

    :confused::confused:

    Am I really weird then? I don't hold the bottle in place, then try to hit it with my wee. I don't have the equipment for that kind of precision - and if I did, wouldn't be able to get pregnant! I start to wee, then move the bottle into position to catch some mid flow urine. Mine doesn't change direction mid flow so its not hard to catch. Sometimes have to wash my hands extra thoroughly afterwards though :D
