Mrs Moc - I think its good you told him no, I would think you both need time apart to think about what you want/need and then once you have an idea of whatever that is then start to work to that goal. be that cutting him out of your life or giving rehab a chance etc. but he needs to know that he can't just go off on a bender then come home again like nothing has happened.

OMG there is a girl on This Morning that got preg at 13 - I've just realised that if I'd done that I'd have a 9/10yr old now!!

hmm you know I said I'd been spending a bit recently, well just checked and I was £200 overdrawn (I have £550 OD facility) and joint acc (which doesn't have an OD facility) has been charged £8 coz I went OD by £20 on that too!! :o

Thanks Sami, I agree, I think he had a right cheek expecting to just walk back in again.

I did find it hard though having the last child without him around, I work from home and after that birth was back working 3 days later, I ended up exhausted.

Im too angry though to even look at him, so he needs to stay away and let me think about what I want to do.
  • Hello from a much brighter MFD :D

Thank you to whoever it was (think it was sls) who said something about getting active once I feel a bit brighter. Made me think that there is no point moping about. Any son of mine is bound to be a stubborn b00ger and will come when he is good and ready.

Have sorted some stuff out in DSS room, had a bath, spent an hour on the phone to my mum chatting about everything and now I am removing the silly little pretend t-shirt bit from inside one of DH jumpers. Why do they put white triangles in dark jumpers and how do they expect me to keep the white bit white

So it will be gone - if he wants a white triangle he can bl00dy well wear a white t-shirt (I can cut one down into an attractive crop top if he likes ;) :rotfl: )

Then I will be ironing and taking each item upstairs separately ;)

Might get hubby to meet me at the pub when he comes home - I can walk there but not sure if I can walk back too - will do us good to get out of the house for an hour or two (and poor hubby deserves a pint for putting up with me!!)

    Mrs Moc ((HUGS))

Mrs Moc - 3days!! (that is actually illegal u know, you legally must not return to work i think its until 14 days after the birth;)) Seeing him now when ur still so angry really wouldn't achieve anything ur doing the right thing IMHO :D Do you have any support in terms of friends n family? Are your o;der children at an age where they can help with chores?

MFD: just make sure it is just the one pint - you don't want to end up in labour with a hubby that can't drive :D

As long as we leave when my contractions are 5 minutes apart I can drive myself ;)

If I had got pregnant at 13 I would have a 19 year old now

    Edit:
IMO kids are never too young to have chores Sami - DSS has always had them at our house (since he was 6) and now he has more here than he has at home I think (I am a true wicked stepmother!!) Even if it is just fetching and carrying the nappies and wipes it will be a help (and keep the kids occupied)

*hugs* mrs moc we had problems when i was preg also, obviously not to the extent of yours but i understand how down you must be feeling and also the relief? OH told me he couldnt do this and wanted to leave 5 weeks before my due date and i was gutted, i still find it hard and wonder if he is only staying as he feels sorry for me? Just be strong only you can know what is right for both the kids and you xxxx

Feelie i was told at the hosp that they would rather you were in everyday to put your mind at rest than you sat at home worrying. hope things go well today for you!!

MFD like you said he will come when he is ready! hope that its soon for you know how fed up i was xx

well after my early upstairs last night to watch desperate housewifes i fell asleep lol never saw anything i went to watch!

Glad you're feeling brighter MFD and completely agree about the stupid white triangles in jumpers, all hubbies jumpers have them... And I have to iron them... And the really annoying thing is, he usually wears a t-shirt underneath everything anyway! Never thought of removing them before... Might do now though...

Hubby has his interview today to keep his job... His suit trousers didn't fit so he was just going to wear black trousers and see if Tesco had a cheap jacket that would go... He ended up getting the whole suit for £25 lol... Least he has something to wear to my brothers wedding in 3 weeks anyway... And if he does get made redundant he has something to wear for interviews... <sigh>

Oh and to cap it off... We were discussing a dispute he once had with O2 the other day about how they kept messing up his payments and he cancelled the contract and they tried to get the full amount for the rest of the year but he disputed and then never heard from them again... Well he got a lovely letter today asking him for over £500 from a collection agency... Marvelous!!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Will be keeping my fingers crossed for him Krystal. When will he know if he gets to keep his job?

There are bound to be people over on the mobiles board that can help with how to deal with the letter...or on one of the other boards (I sometimes forget that this site does more than host our chat these days!!)
