I wonder how many times you need to get jiggy to actually help labour start. I know the pessary they insert is of the same hormone, but surely it is a lot more concentrated than the amount of hormone you would get from one 'session'

:think:Mmmm Mel , are you sign your OH up for a marathon session to get things moving, lol

Mel - swiss roll, weird yes but lets face it there's probably more sugar in nutella on toast or a bowl of sugar puffs!!
I've had a croissant and shall be having some strawberries in a mo (don't tell Chris but I put a bit of sugar on mine but not his :o)
Ps. My early night was fab, had a nice snuggle with a back rub - felt much better so we flooded baby with wotsits ;):D thats the 1st time since we made him/her I think!!

Yeah probably Sami, although sugar puffs/frosties etc, are banned from this house! They send the kids completely hypo.

Glad you had a nice relaxing night:)

Its my 8 year anniversary in a week! I'm glad its last this long, everyone said it wouldn't!

I'm just getting a fits bits together to prepare for a boring afternoon. Will take my DS in so I can at least have some entertainment. I'm knackered though, so might just try and sleep.

Baby is happy though, he kicked all night, and actually woke me up for the first time! Feels like he is trying to kick his way out.

AF - I can sympathise with the appointments! I feel like I'm 'crying wolf' going there so much, but its not like I can fake high BP and protien is it?!

hehe, I was a bit worried he'd feel bubs and get put off coz he/she was a bit wriggly but soon calmed down once things got going.
I did make me think tho because bub wriggled a bit then Chris's monitor went off when he turned over and said something in his sleep and I thought "best make the most of this god knows when we'll next get some peace n quiet!" :rotfl:
