Still no Bubba. Still lots of backache and twinges but mostly nothing.

Sami - my mum has been praying for him to hang on in there until tomorrow when it is her birthday and it would also have been hubbby's dads birthday. So I guess if he does come tomorrow it will have some family significance. God knows why mum wants to share her birthday - but I guess it means that she will get to spend it with her grandson from now on


I am so pee'd off with myself. I was so determined not to cry false labour and now I feel like I have let myself down. Just felt very different today.

Oh well. Off to bed to have a big cuddle and hope that he decides to make his move in the night.

Caz - absolutely no hope of hubby providing his assistance, the MW's both said that they could feel Bubbas head :eek:


On the bright side DSS got a glowing school report (we knew he would) so I will be having a think about a treat for him...

I'm back from Tesco.. We had tea from a new chippie tonight and its given us both dodgy tums so we didn't stay long before I felt too bad

We did get a teddy and a set of three bibs with the same teddy on. All in cream and brown. OH also got a furry hat and scratch mittens set in the same range.. I pointed out it'll be summer but he was adamant. It is upto 15lb size so hopefully it will last a few months.

Turns out OH definitely wants that scan and is refusing to buy or even look at the blue outfits until after we've been told again.. oh dear

Hope everyone is keeping ok and congrats on any new arrivals.

I have my first scan tomorrow, I'm so excited I've got flutterbies in my tummy! I havent't told anyone yet but have been dying to so will be sooo glad tomorrow.

My original due date is 12/09/09 but i got my dates mixed up orignally and think it may be 17/08/09 at a rougg guess, can't wait!

sorry i have been pretty much offline since i finished work last friday. think i have only posted one day this week.

oh MFD --- you know i am sending you major labour vibes. maybe bubs is waiting to share his birthday with his your mum. i will be thinking of you.

i have been spending too much time up and down at the hosptial as high BP and protein in my sample; swelling; and now flashing in my eyes. to be honest, it's all be a complete waste of time. i was last in on tuesday and i got the impression that the doc at the hopsital wasn't bothered and i was wasiting his time. the time before i was up at the hopstial for 8 hours. i am back at the gp on friday and if my BP is up again and there is protein, i am tempted to refuse to go up to the hosptial. bubs is absolutely fine.

going to try and read back a few pages before i fall asleep.

AF - glad you popped in, have been wondering whether to tell the girls that you were okay or not

Have you had a proper chat with your MW about what is happening...particularly the fact that the hospital keep you in until stupid o'clock every time you go? At least you will be really familiar with the place when it is time!

Just got up for a bowl of shreddies and a coffee. Back to bed with my stupid twinges and backache :rolleyes:

hello i have my 20 week scan today yay!! Hopefully will find out the sex too . although im 99% sure its a boy! glad have scan, as have had a bit of blleeding and th ebubs hasnt moved much last couple of days!

Morning, schools closed due to a power cut so we get a day off, yeah! MFD, once you feel up to it get up and get as active as possible. Stairs are supposed to be good.
