Oh, does anyone know what they'll do to me in the Day Assessment Unit tomorrow? I think I wandered in there by accident once, it had lots of comfy chairs. I'm due in at 12pm, but I've got a Vets appointment at 3pm, think I should reschedule that?

Plus got to factor in him not wanting to go in the basket, haven't I! I'll try and get a saturday appointment so OH can help me round him up. Stubborn thing he is!

I was always there a good hour and a half. My BP was taken every 15mins for an hour, baby's HB continually monitored and I had to press a button everytime I felt baby move. My wee was checked and sometimes I had blood taken.

Evening everyone. I've been at work today, so have just caught up with everything tonight.

Lots of lovely labour vibes to MFD!!!

Elle - the company I used for my early reassurance scan at 10wks also offers 4D scans. They advise between 20w and 34w but like the place SeptemberBaby went to, they say the best results are between 26w and 28w. The 2D anomoly scans cost £100 for 45 mins and says they perform a full fetal well-being check and produce a detailed report for your notes. They also do a 2D bonding scan with is £50 for 15 minutes. There is another option, which may not be available at other places but sounds like it might be a good option for you. It's a 2D/4D Combo scan where you get a 2D anomoly scan as mentioned above, plus a 4D bonding scan where you get a DVD and some images of the baby. That one costs £100 for 45 minutes. I know that different places do different scans and charge different prices, but hopefully this will give you some ideas.

Sami - wow the difference between the romper and the PJs!! I know what you mean though - I received a trial pack of Huggies in the post yesterday and when I open it and looked at them, I couldn't believe how teeny tiny they are. It's scary!

With the hair dying discussion - I checked with my hairdresser and my sister checked with hers (different ones) and they both said the same. They said that foils are the best, as the dye can be kept away from the scalp more easily (it's the scalp where the dyes can get in rather than through the hair apparently). I've only had mine done once since being pregnant and had bleach. My hairdresser just kept checking how it was taking more frequently than she used as hormones can cause the bleach/dye to come out differently to usual.

Right, I'm off to bed now.

    Night all

Am I remembering wrong? isn't ur OH a L'pool Red? if so does he know u are reading the sun? thats grounds for divorce round here!!
:rotfl: at u not seeing the romper! told u it was small !!!
I'm not sure what is more scary, how big Chris is now or how small baby will be

wash your mouth out Sami - he is not a red (maybe when he was little and naive). He can't be a red anyway cos he works for the blues.
Funnily enough he was telling me the other day that the blues won't have the Sun either - due to Hillsborough.

Girls, I shall never mention the sun again and shall stick with BBC news for my daily news fix. See you is all educating me dead good now so I is no longer a chav and can talk proper like :rotfl:
It's the small baby thats scary - i can't believe how small the clothes are even at 6-9 months!!!
Right off to climb the wooden hill as OH is already waiting for me in bed
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

LOL, feelie, rearange your vet appointment. Usually they like to keep you for 4 hours. You will go in (I'm remembering you said high BP + protein?) have bloods taken, a urine test, and your BP taken every 45 mins (usually). They may also sling you on the moniter to see how baby is doing. Then they will poke at your ankles (or cankles if your like me), they might test your reflexes with a little hammer and ask questions about swelling, peeing, your vision, headaches and probably bowel movements. :rotfl:

Take a book or some magazines cos it's booooooooring!
