Hope everything goes well and you still get the homebirth you want. How long are they likely to keep you in for monitoring?0

Astonsmummy - I know it's not funny but I could help but laugh when I read your little one had weed in the toaster - how random
Feely - Glad your appointments are getting better, let's hope they stay that way

Morning girls and bumps,
Although this pregnancy seems to be dragging somewhat (think child in the run up to christmas), I love that there are still little things every day which excite me, every little kick or hiccup makes me so happy!
Last night OH said I could get a crib for baby as he thinks the cot in the bedroom might take up too much room. Being able to buy a crib makes me feel like a proper mummy!
Just wanted to spread the joy.
Labour vibes to all those who are nearly but not quite there yet (thats you MFD)!!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Morning Everyone
Sorry to hear about your false starts MFD and emlou, I will keep my fingers crossed that something happens soon for you both:)
Weezl - happy due date. You three are going to have to share the labour vibes though, and I am holding some back for myself as I am 39wks today:D
Haven't had a chance to read right back, so apologies if I have missed any important questions. I phoned Labour ward for advice last night, because the sick feeling had been getting worse all day, along with not being able to catch my breath, sharp pains under ribs and dizzy spells!! She asked me a ton of questions and just said to drink more fluids (slowly) and rest, and if any of the symptoms got any worse or any swelling starts then to phone back. Anyway I have woken up today feeling great:)
I wonder how many times you need to get jiggy to actually help labour start. I know the pessary they insert is of the same hormone, but surely it is a lot more concentrated than the amount of hormone you would get from one 'session'

Still no Bubba. Still lots of backache and twinges but mostly nothing.
Sami - my mum has been praying for him to hang on in there until tomorrow when it is her birthday and it would also have been hubbby's dads birthday. So I guess if he does come tomorrow it will have some family significance. God knows why mum wants to share her birthday - but I guess it means that she will get to spend it with her grandson from now on
I am so pee'd off with myself. I was so determined not to cry false labour and now I feel like I have let myself down. Just felt very different today.
Oh well. Off to bed to have a big cuddle and hope that he decides to make his move in the night.
Caz - absolutely no hope of hubby providing his assistance, the MW's both said that they could feel Bubbas head
On the bright side DSS got a glowing school report (we knew he would) so I will be having a think about a treat for him...
nice bear hug for you!
and now you mention it babies in our family n friends circle seem to be born on someone else's b-day, My best friend's is the same as Dads and My cousin's is also my mum's.

Baby is due 2 days before our 1yr wedding anniversary
Thankfully I did not marry the guy I was with before OH, No idea what I was thinking there!!!
You'll feel baby soon, this is my 2nd one so everything is looser in there which in my case has meant gymnastics since about 15weeks and flutterings since 12ish.
Most people feel 1st babies around the 20wk mark (I'm 27weeks now - 3rd trimester )0 -
