MFD - Big labour vibes to you!!:j

fairy - I was up and down for the first part of this pregnancy as well and we had been trying for a baby for over a year! It probably has sunk in more since the 20 week scan, but I still don't have much of a bump and not had much sickness or anything. So I still have the odd moment where I 'forget' that I'm actually pregnant!

I know this may sound like a silly question but someone posted a few days ago about the car seat they had chosen not fitting in their car (sorry can't remember who)

Is there a site that tells you what car seats are compatible with what car?

LOL searching at least it's not just me then :) I have managed to have a shower now and also got the order done once DH made it off the phone. Hooray! Now... my own shopping... do I go to the shops or do I do it online too? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm decisions!
Ah well - i managed to use a £5 off £50 order for SILs so the £4 delivery charge for hers is at least paid for :) Dh has suggested Dominos for lunch - they do do cheap lunch time pizza's so off to pick that up now... he's SUCH a bad influence :)

Tink - Here is the list for the maxi-cosi car seats:

Although I have heard it is still worth checking they fit your own car before you buy.

Maybe I've sapped your energy then searching and tine... Although my back is really starting to ache now so think I need to slow down a bit... Off to aquanatal in a min though... At least in the water it's easier to exercise...

  • emlou, if you go into labour between now and then, will you have to cancel the appointment? I can't imagine ever remembering to cancel a midwife appointment within a week of giving birth lol.... Mind you, I suppose they'd know when they have to do the community visiting...
    quote]

This will make you laugh then - with my last lo I went in to labour at 4am at 37weeks. I had a midwife appointment due that afternoon and I was also moving house that day!! I rang midwife at 9am to tell her I wouldn't make the appointment that afternoon as I was in labour and thought I would be in hospital by then. She told me I was mad to ring to cancel my appointment but thanked me! She rang the hospital at 5pm to see how I was getting on and I had had my baby and was on the postnatal ward already! It was all so quick - and was my 1st lo. Midwife was so shocked they told me on the ward how she told them I had only rang her that morning to cancel my appointment and how shocked she seemed!! and our family had to move all our stuff and poor dh had to deal with me giving birth then had to sort the estate agents and solicter out!! What a day!! I am hoping for a more boring birth story this time - altho I am hoping it is all just as quick (I only had 1hr 30min in a delivery rm!)

    Hello

I work in Wigan and will be 12 weeks on 11 March so we are very close in edd and location!!!!
Shoul;dn't you book in earlier than that?!! I booked in at 9 weeks and have scan on 12th March :j

Glamzon - thats what i thought. Went to the doctors to get referred as soon as i missed my period, in January. And that was the first date they could give me to book in. Apparantly the team of midwives do booking ins one afternoon a week. which i think is ridiculous, cosidering the appointments are supposed to be about an hour long, so that 4 or 5 a week. Must be a lot of pregnant women in my area!!

Oh god OH's Dad rang me to inform me ''WE are on our way'' which meant he was coming with OH's Mum, who could seriously give kim and aggy a run for their money, Cue me running around the place hoovering, mopping, dusting etc all in 45 mins
She makes me so nervous, and the other day she was moaning because OH's Dad hadn't swept the dining room floor properly and said ''it's the height of discust'' you should see the floor, it's never dirty!
I bet she was cringing at my windows :rotfl:
I suppose the good side is I've hoovered the boys room, my room, hall, stairs, and landing so thats one big chore out the way :D

His dad didnt start the decorating because we aint got the pasting table off our neighbour, they lent it to my next door neighbour and she's at work!

I'm absolutely worn out, think i've overdone it, i know i aint done alot but i think it's the speed i done it in thats worn me out.

Ooooooooh and I finally get my car today, couldnt get it on Sat because our mechaninc wanted to finish the last bit that needed doing, MOT it and valet it for me, oh and also make the stereo work lol
