Help me. Tell me i will have energy soon. Am also crying as it feels like I am worst mummy in world as every time DS comes up for a kiss i cant kiss him because of all the coldsores. See am crying again now as seeing his little face when I can't do it breaks my heart. Thet story about the mum whose baby died with the coldsore is worrying me sick too which isn't helping.

Shelvis, so sorry you feel so rough! And how horrid that the way your body shows it's run down is the coldsores that scary news story focussed on recently. I completely understand why you would feel worried. I believe your energy will return soon. :D:T

I so hope other local friends will offer some help with DS so you can get some sleeps in the day? I know your OH is doing his best, but who else is around?

Wish we as your virtual support network could do more practically! But glad you felt able to come on and post about it, and that that gives some relief I hope. Hugs to you, :)

Guys - what are you using as your hospital bag? Looking for ideas. A bag you already have, are you buying something specific, using a small tolley case etc?

Although only 29 weeks am thinking I should get prepared as twins are notorious for coming early...

I'm going to use a little trolley case I've already got and probably a hold all for labour bag / something for hubby to take dirty laundry home too... I was just saying the other day, I'm sure I already had a bag of stuff on the go by this time with Aimee... Haven't really thought about it this time... Maybe once the bedroom is sorted and we know where we are with baby things I might start planning a bit more...

I meant to put the slow cooker on for tea... Think I might be a bit late on that now... Would be fine for when hubby gets home from work at 7, but not much good for Aimee... Might do something in a casserole dish and hope the oven isn't still in a cremating mood...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Spinks just wanted to say im really enjoying reading your birthing stories, when I seen you had posted the 2nd one, I had to go get a cup of tea and some choccy biscuits before settling down to read lol.

Shelvis I hope you start feeling better soon, I had a really bad cold a couple of weeks ago and when DS was trying to kiss me, I had to hold him away, his confused expression near broke my heart.

Ickle, im bringing a small expanding trolley case, so I'll have room to put all the lovely presents I get from my visitors :T

The rain has finally stopped here so im heading out to pick up more tiles for the new bathroom, the work should have been finished on Friday, but we run out of tiles.

Dh was supposed to do that this morning but has gone AWOL.

A trolley case for my hopsital bag with my stuff (clothes, pads, puzzle books, toiletries etc) and the baby bag (baby clothes, camera etc). I'm expected to be admitted prior to the birth (section probably) so it's easier for me to have two seperate bags, one with my stuff one with baby stuff.
  • Ickle - I have a holdall/overnight bag as my labour bag and a small, hand luggage sized suitcase for all the post-birth stuff...although if you have to take twice the clothing and nappies that we do then you may need something bigger!

9 days till my scan! :j (why do I keep typing 'me' instead of 'my'???)

I am not posting DS2's birth story. I refuse to tell it to anyone pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant. But DS1's was amazing :D

DS2 (3) has a baby in his tummy too, but it's only tiny and cries all the time so he has to drink milk to make it happy  :rotfl:

MFD - I see from your sig today's the day...any signs?

my little girl is 8 weeks old tomorrow, & has horrible colic. None of my boys ever had this. Right now I wish it was still 8 weeks ago, when the house was quiet & despite being very pregnant, huge, & bored, atleast I didn't have all this screaming. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have slept more!!
  • Nothing at the moment sooz - which may not be a bad thing because I am having an 'I can't get my head around being pregnant and having a child' day :rotfl:

Can't sleep though - was tidying and sorting between 4am and 6am this morning!! Then when I went back to bed hubby said I disturbed him by being really restless at 6am

Might have to have another go a hula hooping on the Wii!

Poor little mite - colic can't be fun for anyone.

Edit - at least you are with it enough to know the date!!!
